Comfortable rooms with everything you need from an airport hotel (except charging plug points next to the bedside tables). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Appreciated the fact that they were happy to give me a breakfast pact because I was departing before breakfast was to be served. Fast n free WiFi.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Small Fitness room but ok. Menu in the Restaurant was lacking a vegetarian Option outside of salat.solid service. Can recommend for a stay before taking the plane.

Great place to spend a night. Located within the airport and no need for transportation. Great service from friendly staff. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Top of all is fast and reliable WiFi connection

What a massive hotel! The rooms are adequate, the wood finish provides a certain class about it. The views are nice, roof top gardens and pool, outside eating area. Restaurant provides an alacart menu with extensive range. Front desk is helpful. A bit of noise from air planes taking off, but with this close proximity it is expected. Ample parking. Terminals and shops in walking distance.

Clean, comfortable transit hotel, an easy walk from OR Tambo airport. City Lodge has a simple restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast and light meals. There is a fitness centre and swimming pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. City Lodge is isolated, so definitely for transit use only.

Poor service at cafe restaurant, nobody greeted upon arrival. When seated, no patrons tended to me for 20mins. Service was pathetic! I will not return.

The food does not taste fresh and the menu is very limited hence not good for someone staying over 3 days. Internet connectivity a hussle, sometimes prescibed passwords do not work. Beddings and sanitation are okay though.

Staying at City Lodge at the airport was completely uneventful. The room was clean, the linen was good, the bathroom was tasteful and had everything I needed. There was a TV, there was WiFi, there were international power sockets, there was a hairdryer. The food was nice. But the bestfeature of the hotel is that you can walk to the airport in 10 minutes, entirely under-cover, as the hotel is part of the airport complex.

We had an early flight into Johannesburg from Perth, so had booked the room. The receptionist was really great, as she could see that we were exhausted. The staff were excellent. We had all our meals at the hotel, which were excellent. We have stayed in City Lodges over the years and their standards have not dropped. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
