Best break-away ever! Will definitely be back. Super clean and friendly. Weekend of peace and quiet. Ranch ambience with the dogs and horses. Judy - the host - is very friendly and accommodating. The spa baths helps to siak away all stress. Lazy-boy chairs in front of tv. We stayed in the Barn and we had everything and more we needed. Game room at the swimming pool. Dog friendly and hammocks to chill and watch the dogs play. Beautiful view from room. Own braai which they clean everyday. Wow it was a lovely experience! Will go back anytime.

A very enjoyable, comfortable and memorable stay. Judy is an amazing host and was welcoming and friendly! We stayed in the Blue Bush cottage which has well maintained rooms, bathrooms were clean and all the soaps, shampoo, shower gels and dishwashing liquid, etc was provided for. The unit has a fireplace and full kitchen too. Judy (the owner) also sells firewood, charcoal and firelighters at very reasonable rates onsite.

The private fenced garden for our dog was a great plus, as well as a larger secure walk area is also available to all guests and their dogs. We will be back!

If you are looking for a peaceful place to unwind for the weekend, you have found it. Blue Roan Lodge is the perfect setting, with the hostess Judy who is very friendly and accommodating, seeing to your every wish. The accommodation is spotless. We really enjoyed our stay in the honeymoon suite and highly recommend.

Had a lovely relaxing stay! The Villa is very clean and gives a nice "greek beach" vibe. Rooms are spacious, nice fireplace in the tv-room and the kitchen is fully equipped. You have your own little patio with garden, and braai facilities.

There is a walkway into the bush, some horses walking around and friendly dogs at reception. You are also welcome to bring your own pets along.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There are other Villa's available, each with their own style and vibe.

Judy was the perfect host, welcoming us in and waving us off, very well stocked cottage, everything works. Not your standard weekend cottage, nice little personal touches. We only stayed 1 evening, next time we will go for the full weekend to really escape the city life.
