Nice shop with a decent variety of goods. Well priced. I deducted one star as the cashiers seem a bit unfriendly most of the time.

Don't like the layout, lines are long and it is difficult to maneuver in the shop with a trolley. Nice selection of cheese though, except I struggled to find parmesan. There was only 1 left which I finally found.

Poor. Checkers at the Mountain Mill Mall has a hugh poster at their entrance advertising a " Grape Promotion" but they do not have any grapes for sale inside. They were not sold out - did not have much to start with. Will not go back there in a hurry.

As far as supermarkets go Checkers in Mountain Mill Mall is pretty average. Staff at the tills are always pleasant. Tills are well-staffed - much better than at the alternative in the mall. The general cleanliness of the store could improve. Especially the plastic baskets are dirty most of the time.
