Great seafood but the service was very slow during our visit. Waiter seemed to be pampering to a larger table then was very surprised that we would not tip him.

My partner and I just had dinner there. Holy **** the Calamari and Steak combo was amazing. Service was great as well even during the busiest time of day. We’re heading back to try more on the menu over the next week. You can’t go wrong here.

The Hotel has 2 wings. The old one which has a lot of character with no modern facilities. This was my choice as I wanted something that had soul.
The new wing which I never stayed has spacious rooms with all the modern comforts.
The restaurant has great sea food and a beautiful veranda which makes it very special when the weather is good.

Consistently good food in a non pretentious setting. Friendly staff, quick service and quality ingredients.

In the end the evidence remains as an empty bottle and shells 😉

Very friendly staff, excellent menu of fish and meat, fast service on Sat evening, good place to go on your way back from cape point. Would definitely go back there.

Great restaurant, best calamari in Cape town. Fantastic whiskey selection. Would be nice if they had a wider selection of beer on tap. Nice and warm with fireplace everywhere - great place for a winter dinner. Wine selection a bit pricy though.

Fantastic food! Amazing view. Was crowded in the resturant, but they accommodated us and the service, although slow, was good. At the foot of Chapmans Peak, it is definitely worth a stop for a meal or a quick drink.

Lovely meal on the terrace here. The party I was with each commented how good their respective dishes were and the quality of the food was one of the main conversation points. This wouldn't be a surprise to South Africans but as visitors we were really impressed. Amazing food, amazing sunset view and a great time. The servers were a little thinly spread but did their best and the service was overall good.

Always guaranteed an amazing meal! Especially the Portuguese steak and calamari. Big selection of good drinks.

There's plenty of space so you can always get a seat.

And of course the views are to die for.

Friday Evening 730pm. Sold out of Sole. Bad.

Friday evening 815pm, sold out of; creme brûlé and lemon tart.

That's really bad.

The food is good. If you can get it. It's not even like these are "specials". They are standard items in the menu.

So I Leave disappointed.
