Great location for lunch and drinks. Deck outside for sunny days or lounge inside for cooler weather. Good selection of food and drinks. Great chocolate milkshakes!

Came here for dinner from the Hunters rest protea hotel. Very average food. Pepper sauce inedible. Overly complicated menu. The venue is really quite nice with a nice view of the dam. Outdoor furniture could do with a sprucing up. Interesting beer selection. The endless droning “German” music gets very irritating after a while. Glad I tried it, and can’t be that picky out here if you’re from joburg. But not my kinda place

Asked for permission to do our engagement shoot and the manager agreed without hesitation. They did not expect payment for the time spent on their premises, which was very gracious in my opinion. After the photo shoot we also had some of their beer, which was amazing! Will go back to try their food soon.

Comprehensive menu. Lunch was tasty and filling. Compliments to the chef. The refreshments were strong and a well written warning was at the door, "enter at own risk".

Wonderful location with amazing views, great beer and great german food, what is more, unlike many real ale establishments they serve Becks Blue 0% alcohol free beer as an option for the designated driver so everyone can have a great time even those who don't drink alcohol.

Craft beer is delicious, crackling is scrumptious, green peppercorn sauce is heavenly, the chef hit the medium rare spot on but I was ever so slightly disappointed by the rump and finally decided that it was a bit chewy and sinewy. Atmosphere is great.

I Held my best friends birthday there for 18 people.
Service was average food very good but
What's lacking is atmosphere.maybe some background German music and also a managers presence to find out if everything was in order and if we enjoyed our experience or even to welcome our guests and explain the craft beer options.

One of Rustenburg's greats. A truly unique experience, this brewery offers some of the best craft beer I have ever tasted. The food is excellent and service is always swift and friendly. The atmosphere is excellent as is the view of the Olifantsnek Dam.

An impressive brewery! Do try to attend a brewery tour.
Stay for lunch with speciality German dishes on offer. The verandah is great if you are looking for fresh air - lovely view of the Magaliesberg Mountain range.
Indoor dining in an attractive venue. Airy and bright.
Extra offering: a small gift store.
    Annual Oktoberfest.
