Want a good time with a bunch of crazy friends? Book aN event at the Zonkie Shabeen with your friends and go crazy. Take a look at the ceiling when you walk in to take a trip down a timewrapwith brindle Gnu next to the stoep for sundowners this is the place. Dont expect upmarket but you will have a great time for sure!

Beautiful tranquil gardens. Tasty Food. Good service and staff very friendly and keen to assist. Room was very disappointing. Dirt falls from thatch roof onto bed (white bedding) with bugs - condition of roof structure questionable. No curtains or blinds in bedroom on the side of the swimmingpool deck.

Very beautiful wedding venue but the service delivered was beyond poor. My room (Room 16) was in a state: not enough towels, fridge unable to open, not nearly enough coffee amenities, tap in shower broken, no extra toilet paper, kettle base was on the other end of the room, chair broken and the lighting in the room is terrible. As someone who spent the night due to attending a wedding at the venue, I required sufficient lighting to get ready. I complained to the manager on the Sunday morning who assured me that the General Manager would contact me on Monday. It is now Thursday and she has still failed to do so. If you consider this venue as Wedding Venue (as you should because it is gorgeous) please do so carefully. The second star is solely awarded for aesthetic qualities the venue offers.

This place has the most awesome view, helpful friendly staff and serve really good food. The owner interacts personally with his guests to make sure they are happy.
