Great food, fabulous setting, shame about the wasps!
Nice lunch but kids menu not really kid friendly
Very nice setting good food.
Friendly staff, good food, great atmosphere. The kids play area is great and so is the wine. Parents can enjoy a good few relaxing hours while the toddlers entertain themselves on the jungle gym. We frequent them whenever we visit the Cape Town area and we are never disappointed. You can't go wrong. Enjoy!
The food is really disappointing, when you consider the the price. My duck breast (R185) was two small pieces of overcooked duck. My boyfriend had the pork belly (R150), which was dry. At that price you're expecting food that is cooked properly. We originally planned on eating dessert but didn't bother after the poor quality of the main. It's unfortunate as the venue is beautiful and the service was good.
Great food, lovely view
Bodega Restaurant used to be great, but the quality of the food has dropped a bit and was a bit disappointing the last time we went there.
Just returned from lunch at your restaurant. What a stunning venue and setting, perfect for lunch! What a pity the food didn't match the setting - We were a party of six and had we paid, may be max R150 per head, would have thought it ok, but to pay an average or R285 per head(incl. wine) for a meal that was really not much better than our local piza/ steak cafe thought it quite a 'rip off'. In such economic times peole our looking for value and if the food had been 5 star would have paid willingly. However, waiter & staff very efficient and friendly. Helen 25/09/2011
