We recently booked the Garden Suite for two nights. The whole place is immaculate and beautifully situated at the foot of the Helderberg mountains. The view is breath-taking, the staff is very professional and trustworthy. We enjoyed each and every minute spent there. I would certainly recommend my friends to book there. Thank you, Hyla & Raymond for sharing this "Gem" with us. See you soon.

Very pretty if you love nature and the Duckpond 2 cottage really nice Gets hot in summer though which is now a bad thing.

Very nice and cosy place to stay central between Somerset and Gordon‘s Bay. Hidden behind forest and lakes with still having a view on the ocean.
Michelle is an awesome nice host, helping us with everything we needed. We stayed there with 13 pax during NYE for a week. We had lekker braai and made pizza in the pizza oven.
The rooms are nice and cleaneasy nice style! 😁
They have a pool, which is provided with water from the own dwell.

Beautiful gem nestled just off the N2 outside somerset west. Beautiful grounds that are well kempt. The ambiance is perfect. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place! We had a great stay at the Stoney pine cottage. The look and feel of the lodge is elegant but homely. Totally suited our little family. The kids became a little bored, as a recommendation a small wooden jungle gym would be nice, but even without it the friendly ducks and chicken kept the kids entertained. Loved the privacy of our cottage/lodge but knowing management is only a call away was great. Michelle was friendly and the place is well both well lite and secure. Didn't even feel like we are still in The city awesome stay!!!!

Peaceful and tranquil environment - perfect for a few days of R&R. Watching the gentle sunsets over False Bay with a charming pond as part of our vista nourished our souls. There are plenty of endearing farm animals - geese and goslings, ducks, chickens, a peacock, a singing rooster named Kevin, and horses off in the distance. Our cottage still needed a few finishing touches as it had only recently been completed but Harrient was very receptive to our suggestions. Harriet and Kevin were friendly, welcoming and accommodating hosts. Overall, a very pleasant few days break.

I facilitated a Blogging workshop at the wonderful Chelaya Lodge. As you arrive you immediately feel a drop in stress levels. The view and the beautiful garden is an idyllic surrounding to get the creative juices flowing. I had an opportunity before starting the course to wander through the house. The spacious interior is tastefully decorated to create a warm and friendly ambience. Throughout the Manor house the garden and water lily ponds form a picturesque backdrop to the interior. The main bedroom even has a bathroom with a private garden as a backdrop. I was impressed by the fascilities available and the personal touches added by the staff. My thoughts were that it will be a wonderful venue for weekend courses, business seminars and family reunions. I certainly will use Chelaya Country Lodge again as a venue, all the participants in my course enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere which contributed to the success of my course.
