A great introduction to lions and the chance to stay overnight amidst the roars of the beasts! Staying overnight is advised and worthwhile! Watch a gorgeous sunset while hearing roars and sleep with the sounds of lions in your ears! Excellent dinner (braai!) and a guide to give you the low-down on all things lion. Wonderful experience!

Excellent find as something interesting to do in the Cape.
Much bigger than thought it would be.
Obviously during the day lions mostly lying in the shade of trees, which makes it challenging to spot.

But with a patience you find them.

Would highly recommend checking when feeding time is, as that is when the lions are active.
And then roar after eating

The guides around the park are friendly and very informative-a pleasure

Great place, not very big but worth a visit, +- 30 lions now incl. 7 white lions. They're lions 'saved' from terrible conditions so you also do something good. Next to a chimp and other small animals park, there's combo tickets + food\drinks and a souvenir shop.

It's cool. The kids enjoyed it. The lady at reception was really friendly and helpful. Saw white lions. There is a talking crow who does not like men. The animals are well tended and cared for.

What a great place with some amazing people doing some amazing things. It is heartbreaking to know that all of these animals had previous suffered elsewhere but good to know great people like this are trying to make the world better.

The park itself is quite small and will keep you busy for a few hours. They have a small shop where you are able to pick up gifts too.

An amazing sanctuary for rescued lions, chimps, and manh other abused wild animals. Definitely worth a visit and if you can support them financially for the wonderful work they do.

Great place for a family outing. Just make sure to visit at feeding times in order to see the Lions active.

Waste of time and money. Terrible place. Go to Spice Route near there and enjoy a spectacular food beer wine chocolate with a great scenary..

Absolutely amazing. The camping with Lions was an experience everyone needs to experience. Glorious. The lions are well looked after.

Very poor first impression by the cashier. Not very friendly in her approach. Only saw 7 of the 32 lions. The rest were probably asleep. Ranger on duty conversed in Afrikaans even though we addressed questions in English. Visited on Sunday 01.10.17

Although I realise that the animals here cannot be freed it breaks my heart to see them not being able to be free. The tent camp is ok, but warm water would have been awesome. Also two double bunks in that small a space is too much.

All the animals in this park has been rescued from captivity. People kept them as pets, circuses or were kept for hunting purposes in selected hunting camps. They do an awesome job to look and care for the animals. The also accept donations and has an adopt a animal program. Can't wait visit them again, maybe this time I will be able to see the Bengal Tiger

Really an amazing place. Took my daughter to see the Lions for her birthday and she absolutely love it! Staff are friendly and helpful, an attraction that's really worth seeing.

This is an awesome cause. They rescue chimpanzees and lion.

Great visit with the kids, must go when the weather isn't to hot for better Lions interaction and around 4pm for feeding time, hopefully you catch the right day

Small park but great to see these beautiful animals enjoying a better life. Take your time and sit down every now and then and wait for them to appear. It's impressive to see them so close with just a minor fence separating these majestic animal from yourself
