We had a booking for the Wild Goose Cafe at 09:30. As it was rather cool we requested to have a table in the sun but the table we were allocated was in the shade. I then had to get a blanket from my car for my wife and daughter. When my coffee arrived it was not hot. Food was reasonably priced and well presented but was not hot by the time it got to the table. (They could benefit from having plates warmed)

Wonderfully peaceful outdoor (or indoor) eating experience. Go for a meal or just a drink or tea and scones. No under 15s allowed.

Great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Big gardens with restaurant. Offers conference facilities and spa. No young children allowed. Peaceful and informal.

Went there for a conference, and they provided us with very nice snacks in between the talks. The breakfast and lunch was great everyday too. I befriended the local cat while having drinks at the bar.
