Really great selection of games, geeky merchandise and hardware. They have a really impressive selection of computer hardware in perticular. High end graphics cards, mice and keyboards are all available. There is a large selection of Vinyl Pop figures if you are into that type of thing and there is also a moderate selection of anime figures and other apparel. Overall it really feels like a one stop shop for all things geeky.

Really nice collection of figures especially POP figures(biggest collection I have seen in one place). It has an amazing collections of graphic novels, comic books, board games and so much more.

Customer service is non existent from the time I walked in until I left. No greeting, no can I help you with anything. I just get looked at from behind the counter while they all share jokes only they understand.
You guys were awesome in Bright Water Commons but I highly doubt the same owners run this shop.

Really good comic book, board games, video games and general geek/nerd merchandise. The restaurant gives really great meals and decadent milkshakes. Also geek themes like star wars. There's board game nights on Wednesday and Thursday evenings for free and generally awesome friendly atmosphere.

I'm not a video gamer as such so I wouldn't award 5 stars but I was impressed by the efficient organisation, the stock (high prices though), the coffee / snack shop, the secure parking and convenient location.

One of the best gaming stores I've been to in South Africa. I don't ever write reviews, but I thought this was necessary. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Play a game or two of your favourite ccg, kill a few hours on a console, watch some people compete or take part in the regular events they host or just talk to the friendly staff about anything gaming related. There's even a restaurant you can grab a yummy bite at. I've been to many gaming stores. This one is up there with the best.

The new Nexus is a great place for geeks to enjoy being geeks. From the upstairs tabletop gaming room, to the cool cafe downstairs and games and toy area, it's everything we love about geek and pop culture. The comic area is a little disappointing. The selection of comics on offer isn't great and none of the comics are boarded so they often have spine marks before you even buy them. It's more of a gaming store, less of a comic store. But it's worth a visit if you want to see what being a geek is all about.

The best place for geek activities in Jo'burg.
PC and console games, board & card games, miniatures, roleplaying numerous LANs, VR rooms, 3D printers and a massive play area.
There's a cafe that serves pretty decent food too (and they deliver straight to your table if you're gaming).

The hub. Sit down for some lunch then go upstairs for an intense gaming session or perhaps a unique VR experience. The Nexus has everything you need even 3D printers. Be sure to check their fantastic catalogue of comics, action figures and card games.
