Some of the best coffee in town. I buy their beans regularly. Ethiopian is my favorite! Highly recommend for a chilled relaxed space to do work, read or write in one's journal.

Bespoke African code experience with beans from Kenya, Uganda, own blends, etc. Good coffee and a good place to meet. Limited seating. Original touch of providing screened seating area for group meetings.

Absolutely love this place. It's a cosy little coffee shop perfect for grabbing a warm drink or hosting a meeting. I do recommend the hot chocolate and their chocolate chip cookie, definitely worth your money

Excellent freshly roasted coffees and an atmosphere that must be experienced. Sit down with friends or a laptop and enjoy the true Specialty grade Fair Trade coffees on offer. 44 Stanley also has a range of shops that will captivate anyone. A must visit for any coffee lover.

Apparently, the hot chocolate and cheesecake is amazing. However, I wouldn't know as every time I've been here they have had neither. Oh, and the service is slow. Nice interior design though.

Okay. Nothing special. Coffee is awful tasting. I am told their distinct flavour is owed to the fact that they use an African bean. If this is the case, I'm far more partial to the Brazilian and French beans.

Ive been going there weekly since they opened as they are the source of my favourite beans but they also pour a great cup while you wait for your bag to be filled amid the aroma of beans being freshly roasted daily on the premises. All their beans are from African countries, ask for their Fair Trade and Organic varieties. Did I forget mention their delicious cakes and cookies ? Last but not least the friendly, knowledgeable staff make this the best roastery in Johannesburg.
