I visited bakwena day spa for some much need R & R - The one near Stellenbosch in Cape Town is amazing - I found my soul! Thank you Bakwena staff! Hey all deserve huge tips! What Ana amazing place to spend with a loved one - spoil someone! I was pampered from head to toe, massages, facials, food, tanning, swims and more!

Very nice relaxing spa. Unfortunately because of water restrictions the Jacuzzis were off which is understandable but "Mr Nibble" was also not available which made relaxation hour a bit too long. But overall friendly staff who knows what they're doing and lovely relaxed atmosphere

Staff friendly and helpful. The ladies who did our treatments had hands of magic and were all really good. However, the whole spa experience isn't really there. Only the changing rooms had a oil burner with a relaxing smell. The rest of the spa or treatment rooms had no finishes touches. The views from the spa is amazing, but the spa feels like its on a budget. Treatments are done in large groups, which can be annoying when you have a noisy group with yours. Food was halal friendly. Lunch was nice but they could've had more on the table for tea.

My sisters and I took our mom as a Mother's Day treat and had a great time. My therapists were all either good or excellent. The others in my group has some poor experiences, but overall it was a lovely day.

A very average experience in a gorgeous setting. It seems like a mass production line-from the food to the treatments. The massage rooms are tiny and some ladies have only received basic training. Overall not a great experience-but it depends on the spa therapist.
