Our stay in the "INDIGO GUESTHOUSE" was EXTREMELY STRESSFUL.
The Guesthouse don’t have a reception area or receptionist to welcome their guests. Guests must sometimes help each other with remote controls.
Breakfast - There was always something missing or not enough of some or other product i.e. sausages; fruit; yogurt and or juice. It caused the workers to start fighting about WHO might have drank the juice during the night. They started blaming everything on the guests. The staff-members are not friendly, but very moody instead.
There was no kettle in my room. I had to buy my own. Guests ONLY gets coffee, tea, milk and sugar sachets when they arrive (once off).
There was ALWAYS a FIGHT about toilet-paper. Guests are lucky if they get one toilet-roll every two weeks. If you ask, they just refuse to give it to you and start blaming you for either using too much or that you might have been the person who took the toilet-roll from the general bathroom.
Maintenance work sometimes takes place whilst you've booked to stay in the room. Guests sometimes access rooms out of curiosity or maybe to take something from the room. It normally happened whilst a staff member cleaned the room. Your personal belongings weren’t safe.
There are cockroaches and other insects all over the place, especially in the cupboards and in the Kitchen.
Something went wrong with the TV-service. We had no TV for a period of two weeks. The TV-channels are restricted to four and no DSTV.
There is no Shuttle Bus Service to and from the Shopping Malls.
As soon as it gets quiet and there are not many guests, then the workers stay, shower, eat and drink in the Guesthouse. They then also use the toilet-paper which the Guests are not allowed to get.
I’ve stayed in the Guesthouse for a period of four months but only received a copy of one of my payments. The bills for the exact same service, always differs. There must be something very wrong with the bookkeeping system. The service is not professional at all.response / report this review -

It's a quaint, beautiful place. Clean, quiet and good quality. Nice service.

If you are a light sleeper or value your silence better spend your money elsewhere. The main house has a nasty echo. Staff whatch the communal tv untill late at night with no regard to volume. Staff conversations is also happening at the top of they're voices. Noise levels ruined my stay.
