  The check in and cleanliness of the place was Top but it was extremely disappointing to get to the room after arriving in the evening and realise No towels and the TV not working and most upsetting was the window not being able to lock.

  I stayed in a dorm room that sleeps 8 women. The bed were old and creeping and kept waking up the other women in the middle of the night. My room was also right at the front entrance so it was extremely noisy. If you book here, try getting a room towards the back to a avoid noise.

  The Ashanti Lodge in Green Point is smaller than the eponymous hostel in Gardens. It has a very laid-back atmosphere and is not a party hotspot as the other Ashanti Lodge. Nevertheless, the rooms, the bathrooms and the kitchen were clean and the price for the stay was absolutely fair. I especially enjoyed the complimentary pancake batter for breakfast that is provided by the staff. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked a round trip to Cape of Good Hope with Day Trippers at this hostel and everything worked fine. The hostel also offered to take me to the airport which also worked fine and was relatively cheap. Thanks to its location, sights such as the V&A Waterfront, the Cape Town Stadium and Long Sreet are a short walking distance away. Several restaurants and shops are reachable in less than ten minutes by foot. If you are looking for an affordable and relaxing place to stay in Cape Town, I can certainly recommend this hostel!

  Real good Hostel for backpackers. I will return to here someday. I can really suggest. And its a bazbus pick-up point
