The place is rundown with no maintanace being done. Grass is long and neglected. Power boxes in camp area rusted and very unsafe. Overall a very disapointing camping experience.

Arriving at the gate, phoning the number, waiting for access, driving 2.3km bush road to the caravan park at the back of the property. At arrival no hot water at the gents bathrooms. Found nice shade and green grass, but laden with sandal penetrating thorns. We made up half of the occupancy of campers for the weekend a total of 6 campers.
At the pool the next morning it was covered in grass clippings and clogged the weir baskets, algae covered sides and sludge at the bottom with no maintenance in sight. A fellow camper also complained about the pool. A bachelors party started the afternoon and carried on well into the morning. With all the noise none of the campers realized that they were being robed of their cellphones, laptops and a bicycle. The robbers cut a tent, climbed into a caravan and rode away with the bicycle. A fellow camper said when camping at Arendsnes at a previous occasion their bicycles were also stolen. The investigating officer who arrived the late morning said that he had warned the owner to employ security guards when having guests at the park 3 years earlier.

We visited the park to explore for our caravan club to visit new parks next year. We battled to get into the main gate. You have to phone the number outside on the advertisement board. Its around 2.3 Km inside the gate till you reach the caravan park gate. There were no one to greed us. We pushed open the gate and walked inside. There were no campers. Most of the stands are under trees and if the park is really open I am sure it will be visited by more campers. Its actually a beautiful place but looks neglected and buildings full of dust.
