Warm cosy setting. Nice decor with a good comfy feel both inside and outside. Fireplace inside for winter, really delightful sitting outside on a beautiful day.

Friendly staff. Restrooms are clean and lovely.

Loved their freshly baked rolls which is presented really creatively.
Only had 2 cocktails on the menu - Long Island tea and bullfrog.

We ordered the cape Malay lamb curry which was served with a very hard flat bread. The curry was yum (gave both my husband and I heartburn later) however that flat bread was not a roti and not enjoyable. Normally curry is served with banana and chutney but we only got the curry. We ditched the rice for caulimash.

The home made sago was average.

Very bad impression for first time. First of all the food ordered was dished up incomplete, sweet potato chips was omitted. When queried, the manager apologized and came back to the table with three slices of oil drenched sweet potato. The so called pork medallion special of the day was also a disaster, the pork was clearly off, as it tasted rancid and dry. The coconut orange creme brulé was custard wit dusting of fine coconut with no orange taste or signature sugar crust. The Black forest pavlova was a piece of dried out cake, with soggy meringue and a dollop of cream. Definitely not worth the money we've paid. We've phoned to speak to the owner but was told that it's impossible, but the general manager will phone back the next day. She did phone back and promised to report back. Nothing has happened since and we feel that it's clearly not a concern to them.

The place is lovely and the atmosphere is relaxed. In winter the 2 fireplaces heats up the inside and in the summer the trees and birds makes outside feel extra special. Food is of excellent quality, although I only have had breakfast there. I have been in Anna's Kitchen a dozen times in the last 2 years and they are very consistent with what they serve food and quality. The kids have a small playground outside and they enjoy it. Serving cold and hot breakfast. I have to add about the quality of food and the prices what you pay, I will rather eat at Anna's Kitchen than any Spur or Wimpy.

Service was good but I was almost attacked by what seems, was the person in charge when I sent back a well done steak when medium rare was ordered. Come on guys you can do better.
