  Angie and Andre are lovely. The house is huge and the cottage is big enough for a couple and kids. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to help us at every turn.

  Stayed at Anchorage a couple of weeks ago and found it to be clean,quiet and central to pubs and stores.price was reasonable aswell.I will definitely book there again for next time.Two thumbs up Angi

  Anchorage is home away from home. My Son, pet dog Fluffy and I stayed there when we relocated from Johannesburg. The Rates are fair, venue beautiful and tranquil. The owner, Angie is very accommodating and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and at home. Loved the swimming pool, total all round memorable experience and happy times.

  I was there with my friends for a long weekend, to celebrate Haritage long weekend, we were so looking forward to enjoy our stay there. but unfortunately we did not. 1stly the TV was not working they said there was no signal, the pool was dirty, on Sunday we were swimming with Angies dogs. we did not get the tissue paper for the bathrooms, we were not allowed to play music with our laptop of-which it doesn't make so much noise. its fare from the beach its not a walking distance as advertised. the owner Angie told us we not allowed to bring in any visitors but she came and sat with us on Friday, and we drank all together.. we had our deposit of R800.00 that we did not get back when checking out coz she said were making noise during our stay. #MIND YOU# We did not break anything there. but we were told that we wont get our deposit coz of the complaint from other neighbors who were on holiday as well, #MIND YOU# we were sitting with the neighbors in our rooms so we weren't sure who complained about the noise.
  
  As for me I'd never recommend Anchorage to anyone. there's a lot places in Margate than that place.. I was very disappointed.

  We stayed at these facilities in November 2014, when we moved down to Margate. Very impressed with accommodation, price and my dogs could also stay with us and that was an added bonus. Place was very clean, people very friendly and also very accommodating. We only arrived at 10.30pm fro Pretoria and were met will very friendly people. Thanks a ton will recommend this place to everyone

  We were looking for family accommodation for my big family. Anchorage catered for all our needs, was enjoyed by young, teenagers and old alike.
  The home is comfy and well maintained, with sufficient space all around. We loved the privacy and lovely garden for the kids to run around in. The caretaker was friendly and helpful and Angelique's phone call to check if we were happy is definitely service with smile. The place is very secure which gave us peace of mind. I will definitely visit again, and will spread the word to my family and friends looking for holiday accommodation.
