My Friends and I book for a girls weekend away. The Reviews on the traveling sites were good.
When we arrived the set up was nice, the cottages well equipped. We had a wonderful time until we went back to our rooms on the Friday Evening. Someone gained entrance to our cottage with a key as the door was still locked and stole all our valuables. The thieves took money out of our wallets and returned the wallets to our handbags. Window was broken from the inside of the bathroom.
The manner in which this terrible ordeal was handled by the owners was to say the least appalling. They had Zero empathy or sympathy for what happened. They were not willing to ramp up security or to change the locks of the cottages.
I would strongly suggest that you rethink about the lack of security before you book here.response / report this review
