Depressing no Dstv no wifi in the room and i choose this hotel thinking it will have all those things. Just in the room with my family so bored. To think i hv 2 more nights to go😣😥😥😥

I'm very disappointed in the service and hotel itself. There is a extremely rude lady that works there, a elderly lady, she was in the cafe when I had a incident with her. No customer service whatsoever, she really needs training on how to deal with customers.

Our room was dirty, had a beer can and dirt underneath the beds, air conditioning wasn't working, when addressed to the front desk, she was shocked and made it seemed as if it would be sorted out, when we went back to our room, only the beer can was removed from our room, the rest of the dirt remained and still no working air conditioning.

If you want cheap accommodation with bad service this is the place to go to. Would never recommend this place to anyone especially because of the rude lady there. I could handle the room with all its problems but rude staff, she looked part of management or the cafe owner. Not sure but she's got a very bad attitude, her waiter had to apologise for the happenings. Really.

1. The place is dogdy at night. There are people loitering around the reception like there are waiting for the train at the station and I felt uncomfortable.
2. The parking is in a seperate building so you must check in, park your car and walk back in some dogdy alley with your luggage to go back to the hotel. Parking must be at the same building or someone must come assist or accompany you to feel safe.
3. No phones in the rooms so u must go to reception everytime you need something.
4.There was a loud drilling noise in the early morning in the hotel, no warning whatsoever.

Arrived around 7pm on Saturday evening. The hotel entrance not very appealing. The pub close to the entrance of the hotel parking was extremely noisy. The corridor near the lift smelly and noisy while people waited for the lift. The hotel room was very tiny, not at all what was expected. The pictures of the hotel are misleading. We booked for 2 nights but checked out the very next morning. All round bad experience for just 1 night.

its a 1 star hotel or never, that hotel must be closed. Theres blood stains in their beds, filthy rooms. and their Indian receptionist was rude. my God the door in one of the rooms couldn't open I had to ask my friend to open. in all the hotels and guest houses I slept that is the worst place to stay. DONT BOOK IN THAT HOTEL

Got late no food if you late, Room neat & clean, Aircon was a lifesaver , I didn’t fit in the bath build for children had a shower , hot water gone quickly . Battle to park outside hotel to drop off luggage. Parking was a distance. Buffet breakfast was good.

Nice and clean rooms. WiFi not up to standard, could only connect twice for the week I spend there. No telefone to reach room service. Not much of a dstv selection, maybe just 4channels..

For me the hotel is a home away from home, it is clean to my liking, the bed linen are changed daily ,the buffet breakfast is awesome, staff very friendly,reception ladies awesome girls. just one downfall for me it is the noise, terrible!!!.The room I booked the last time, "room 74" very terrible!!" , the shower didnt have bath tub and it was very small,I could hear each and every single thing that was happening in the other room, the ventilator on top needs attention, worst it is like the direction of the bed where it was facing it is the bathroom on the other room, "IMAGINE"
I was dissaponted in that case otherwise there is always room for improvement

This is my home away from home,it's always my first choice coming to Durban. The staff is friendly,the rooms are beautiful and classy yet affordable, breakfast is excellent and very reasonable,I love Albany hotel
