Nick and Heleen are wonderful hosts. Adley House is a jewel of the Klein Karoo. Will always stay there.

It´s a great place to stay. It´s in a quite town, far from all noises from the big cities and with great places for a quick bite o nice dinners. The personal there are so grateful and really kind. Totally recommend for anyone who would like visiting the town or just like a place for a night or tow while you are driving trough out South Africa.

Wonderful cozy place. Great attention from hosts. Room was very nice. I stayed in room 3 and the little fridge sounded like a Boeing every time the motor kicked in. I eventually switched it off. Grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Breakfast was a great spread. I was not please that my teas, coffees and milks that I used in the room were not replaced by the room cleaning staff. One is required to make a u-turn to get out of the property and with most of the parking bays taken, this can be quite challenging. Suggest they use the gate leading to the next street. Other than that, a great place.

Friendly receptionist, free spirited lady. Rooms are big, clean and neat. Great breakfast packs if you gonna leave early. I recommend the place..

Für max. 1 Nacht ok. WiFi geht wenn überhaupt mit 128 Kb. TV kaum Sender trotz Kabelbox!! Nette Terasse. Personal war freundlich. Sauberkeit der Zimmer durchaus verbesserungswürdig. Ich hatte das Hotel schon mal bewertet. Sehe die Bewertung aber nicht mehr. Gelöscht?

Der Ort hat wenig Flair zu bieten ein typisch kleines verschlafenes Dorf im Nirgendwo. Unsere Unterkunft ist max für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind bereits sehr abgewohnt das Bett sehr hart. WiFi und TV wird im Zimmer angeboten, leider funktioniert WiFi nur sehr langsam wenn überhaupt im TV gibt es einen Kanal zu empfangen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Poollandschaft ist sehr enttäuschend denn diese besteht aus zwei getrennte 1,5 m auf 3 m Minipools.

Mooie koloniale woning omgebouwd tot aangenaam verblijf. De struisvogelsteak op de BBQ was trouwens super heerlijk!

We were unceremoniously turned away at the gate. We were told that they didn't have any reservations and that even if we did have a reservation, they would not let us in. We did have a reservation and all the proper documentation. Apparently, the Adley House has put away the "White Only" sign, but continues to practice apartheid. Even if they had Black friends, I would know they were racist.

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly girl who settled us in. Our room was large and equipped with everything you might need for the stay.
The bathrooms in particular were well kept and clean.
Having tea in the garden is one of the experiences I really liked. The garden is beautiful and has two swimming pools which is so nicely hidden, a babe with a big bottom like myself can easily enjoy.
The staff is very friendly and yes it is all true what I've heard about the breakfast it is truly unbelievable!
If you like old-world charm with modern facilities where you will be well fed then Adley House is the place for your stay.response / report this review
