So I tried a hot drink at Adams, I decided to try the hot chocolate for R23 . I went after 3pm so they served me in a takeaway cup. The lady didn't inform me that for R1 more i could get cream with the hot chocolate. The takeaway cup was not good enough quality as I was walking the drink was spilling out. The staff are not helpful and not friendly at all. The prices are mediocre but too high end for the place its located at campus which mainly students are there.
All in all the hot chocolate tasted amazing and was totally worth the price although it's a small quantity!! I can't wait to try out the other drinks there

The food is great. I had coffee and sandwiches while I was making a quotation for my semester books. The place is clean and neat too. I've never had a bad experience there.

Oh my Gosh! The service at Adams bookstore and Coffee shop in Westville campus is appalling.

I was utterly flummoxed when the shop attendant came to the counter to take my order, and while I was talking to her she just walked away! Unbelievable, I know.

She just looked at me and left me mid-sentence as if what I was asking to buy was alien to her. I let that go.

Then she came back and took my order. I asked her if those (pointing at what looked like flapjacks) were actually pancakes, to which she responded the affirmative. I ordered them and a hot chocolate.

You would not believe the deformed, burnt tasteless (frankly disturbing) flour hodgepodge that wreaks of egg. It tasted nothing like pancake and they didn't even have the decency to use some vanilla essence. Who does that?

I think Adam's bookstore should stop these failed culinary experiments they have the temerity to sell to staff members.

I'm utterly disgusted with their overpriced insult for food. Spar does a better job than them and even their pancakes are mediocre.
