  Home away from home. I have been staying regularly since the year 2008 and will continue to stay here in the future also. Eileen (owner) takes special care for the needs of every guest and is a wonderful and warm host. Eileen's guest house sets up a bench mark on cleanliness and security too. I wish Eileen and her professional staff all the best.

  I highly recommend Eileen's guest house if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Johannesburg.
  
  It's a lovely place she has. And everybody there was very friendly.
  We really enjoyed our stay there.
  We even wanted to extend our stay but they were already booked up. But Eileen helped us find another place to go.

  We stayed at this place with my boyfriend the past weekend. For people who are not from around the province, this is the best place to stay when you in Johannesburg and easy to find. The owner is friendly, as well as her staff. The place looks amazing. You are tempted to stay longer. The rooms are clean, right to the smell of the pillows. I highly recommend this place as the go-to-stay guesthouse. Thank you Eileen. :)

  By Far the Best B&B if your touring Joburg, and need a home away from home!!!! Other than the fat that it is an amazing property with a lovely clean swimming pool and excellent rooms, the owner Eileen makes you more than comfortable with her hospitality and great cuisines cooked teasing your tastebuds!!!! There are 3 adorable Canines I have to mention as they completed my day everyday!!! If your in Joburg, and need to feel at home..49 on Norman it is!!!!

  We loved staying here. Big area for guests to enjoy outside (and pool if required). Large bedroom with large bathroom including full bath and separate shower. Eileen is a warm, friendly and helpful host as are her staff who were most efficient dealing with breakfast.
  Room was cleaned daily with new towels. I recommend staying here.

  Its a very nice and lovely place to stay. nice food. Neat and clean. Uptodate services. Very well maintained. Best part is it is quite homely to stay here as all the staff is very nice and treat you the best

  I have been making use of 49 on Norman since July 2012 at an initial frequency of once a month to every second month at an average of two to three nights at a time.
  Due to the nature of my job I travel extensively and make use of this type of accommodation all over the country. This establishment rates at the top nationally.
  Eileen and her team headed up by Bongi quite literally provide a home from home type of stay and no need is too much effort or trouble.
  I have always been made to feel welcome and over the years I have met with many of her repeat clients that, like me, always return.
  All her clients have different needs and requirements and I am always surprised at how she manages to keep everyone happy.
  As a regular traveler it is important to book early at her B&B to avoid disappointment.
  Mother Hubbard, Well done and keep the flag flying with your wicked sense of humor.

  We were looking forward building a relationship with Eileen and her team but unfortunately she did not give us the chance. She cancelled our booking within 24 hours of not paying. (after making an arrangement). No phone call. No warning on her emails or invoices. Just a note to say our booking was cancelled. It sad that we don't have any trust in fellow people anymore.
  I hope her business flourish on the big fish, as she has no compassion for the small ones.
