The 12 apostles hotel is a fantastic hotel, i got married here in 2004 and stayed at the hotel in the presidential suite, the grounds are spectacular the service is fantastic and the pools are beautiful. Sitting on the balcony at the bar and overlooking the bay is the best way to spend an afternoon. Beautiful african art all over.

Whether you come for an amazing massage or a romantic dinner, this venue with its amazing views are highly recommended.
The spa goes into great detail to know your requirements and preferences. Do use the rock pool.
Best sommelier I have met thus far- his palate imagines flavour combinations I would never have dreamt of.
The sunset view is one of the best I have seen.
Overall wonderful experience - probably the best stop on our honeymoon.

Lovely to sit in the sun on the balcony and share a delightful high tea with someone special. So many teas to choose from too. Service was great, views spectacular and overall a true treat for a 60th birthday. Certainly recommended

The hotel is quite nice in general. The location is very calm and beautiful as well as not too far from main Cape Town (10 minute drive or shuttle). The breakfast was amazing, other meals were good as well. Main restaurant was nice and the people there were also nice, but service was slooooow (like they forgot about us). I would have rated this much higher but I had around $400 US cash stolen from my safe (I was in a rush early in the morning and forgot to lock it). The staff was kind and cordial, they had me fill out an investigation form. The manager took off on a vacation, no one followed up with me. I called twice and still no follow-up, didn't even receive an emailed invoice despite multiple requests. Finally I was called back and they said that their investigation found nothing and that they couldn't do anything. They could have given me a credit on my room bill, but I wasn't offered anything, likely because they know they didn't have to (I'm from Canada with no recourse). I found this part of the stay very unprofessional, they could have wowed me and made it a 5 star review but chose not to.

**Vegan Review** I’ve enjoyed the vegan tasting menu at the 12 Apostles Hotel and Spa as well as the vegan afternoon high tea. It is incredible that the hotel is catering for vegans within the fine dining niche. I would recommend both the tasting menu and the high tea. The menu is usually only served for supper, but when I requested it for Sunday lunch, the staff was happy to provide it. My favourite dish was the butternut tofu. The high tea is unique and beautifully presented, including the best scones I’ve ever tasted as well as unlimited coffee (with almond or soy milk) and teas. If the food is not satisfying enough, the sea views will manage to take your last breath away. My promise. 10/10.

I don't think this is a 5* establishment. The room was pretty much standard, rather small & floors were sticky! The breakfast buffet is standard, but for oysters & champagne. The service at breakfast really lacks 5* attention, used cutlery aren't replaced, asked twice for coffee which never arrived! But for the stunning views & location I can't see how it is classified as a 5* hotel

We enjoyed their dinner and movie package. We could choose between a few movies as we where the only one's using the cinema at that time. The service all through the hotel is top class and the food was amazing! We also enjoyed the live music at their bar while snacking on a small platter they set out. Breakfast was a treat we had Mimosas and oysters, cold meats and cheeses, fresh fruit and we also chose a small hot breakfast. Best eggs benedict I have ever had. The nougat we received on departure was so nice that my boyfriend even gave me his :) We will definitely return. This time with our swimming costumes so we can make use of their spa facilities ( this was included in our dinner - movie package ) Lovely place with great views.

Great location and view. Restaurant is upscale, food and service is amazing.
Gave us delicious fudge (on the house) to enjoy while we wait for our bill.

This beautiful hotel most definitely deserve a it's 5 star status. With the mountain as your backdrop and the ocean at your front door, This is one of the most stunning locations in the country. Manages to be top class without feeling pretentious.

Its prime location sets the tone for your stay at this unique and extravagant hotel. As you walk in there is a unique vibe that follows through the entire hotel. The kind of vibe that pulls you and never lets you leave, and why would you want to. Even on a cold winters day the Azure Restaurant is filled with people enjoying the delightful food and interesting selection of drinks, not just alcohol but tea and coffee infusions that put any others to shame. The rooms are all of high opulence with each providing you with a spectacular view of either Table Mountain or the ocean. One of its great selling points is the Spa, hidden away below the hotel with warm baths and treatment rooms, this is the perfect place to relax and spend the day unwinding.

Fantastic hotel, great staff, excellent service, rooms and views are wonderful. Cozy breakfast. Unrivaled hotel based sea views. Special kudos to Tove for her warm smile and embracing personality. Certainly a family venue and epic for Couples. Private cinema and individual catering a boon.

Light lunch at the Leopard Bar on a cold and rainy afternoon. Pets allowed with a dog and cat menu. Beautiful setting with plush couches. Friendly and attentive service. Good food. Excellent wine list. The best views. Outside seating on balmy and gorgeous summer afternoons. Great for cocktails.

One of Cape Town's most beautiful locations, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Incredible for sundowners. Fine dining. Food quality and service unfortunately does not match the high prices

If you are looking for a high quality restaurant with requint and fantastic experience you found your place.

My wife and I went for dinner and it was the best food experience in Cape Town. The service, food quality, outstanding view and delicious deserts. Just amazing!

Anything you order you'll be fine, but try the catch of the day. Meat also are good.

It all about the experience. The best!

It is recommended to make reservations in advance.

The hotel was fantastic, beautiful and clean. The staff were very respectful and helpful. The highlight of the hotel is Alex who works at the front desk. The cat was a delight as well. Loved the hotel and the people who worked there, only complaint is that we didn't enjoy the food as much (other than the bread and the breakfast).
