Our first visit to Savanna and we were told this is a must eat. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We met Chris, the owner, who took time to chat even though it was chilly outside.
We will be back to this restaurant in the future and this is a must eat.

We ordered online but our food wasn't ready when we arrive at the time we were given. We waited more than ten minutes. People in the regular line who arrived after us got their orders before we got the order we'd called in more than half an hour before.
Still, the food was delicious as always, and we'll continue to come back whenever we're in Savannah.
Edited to add: We did not request a refund, but Zunzi's nevertheless refunded our full purchase price. Excellent customer service like that is why we'll keep coming back. Thank you, Zunzi's. Keep making tasty food!

Very good sandwiches the menu definitely has something for everyone. I had The Godfather the sausage was a little dry but chicken was very tender and tasty. My main complaint is the $$ for two godfathers chips and two drinks $35.00. The prices are not posted they keep it a mystery guess they can charge what they like because of their popularity.

Very unique food that's delicious, especially all those yummy sauces! We came here to grab food and they were so friendly. They gave my friend (the birthday girl) a free t-shirt and they sang to her too. During the day in the eating area you can play corn hole and enjoy being outdoors!

Came here based on a recommendation and we loved it! Their sandwiches and wraps are unique and quite flavorful. We weren't exactly sure what was in the sauces but we sure did like them a lot :)

The highlight of this place, however, was the staff! They were all so kind and had high energy. We felt welcome as customers and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Savannah.

    The best food ever.

    And the best tea.

Very interesting experience. South African food. And tea blend.

    People are amazing here.

Long lines at lunch and prime eating hours.

    Worth the wait every time.

Great food!!!! This has become one of the only places I eat when I come downtown. The customer service is top notch. I just wish they were open on Sunday. This is the type of place you will brag about to people. It's just great

To a lot of people, a place with great food.
To a lot of magazines, a unique place.
    To menothing special.

Expensiveor let me retypefor the food and quality it is EXPENSIVE.
I Got the godfather, and i can say it is a good enough sandwich but definitely nothing that special to be so expensive.

    Only a few tables outside.
A huge line ahead all the time ( but I still do not see why)
Not the most polite people in the world,
And the rest of the foods not so great either. Nothing unique.

I have only been there 3 to 5 times.
I just don't feel it. I think it is mostly promotion from magazines that they pay
    ..
    Just personal opinion.

Always always always stop here whenever you are close to Savannah. These are some of the best sandwiches you will ever consume. I usually get the conquistador (sans tomatoes, add onions). It is a literal hole-in-the-wall establishment but don't let that deter you. Wait in the line and enjoy an amazing sandwich. Oh! Also buy the sweet tea. It's different, made with rooibos leaves, and it's delicious!

Hit it with the family, and both chicken wraps and the conquistador were amazing. But the interaction with our teenage son was the best part of all. He wasn't sure of what he wanted, and the taller gentleman behind the counter engaged him with a big smile and a couple of questions to help him find something he'd like. Which ended up being a specially made version of the chicken wrap built like a quesadilla. Exceptional customer service is what brings customers back, and the staff here showed through action how well they understand that. Thanks for the great experience! We will be back!

So yummy!!! Fresh, flavorful and unique!!! There is only outdoor seating or a take it to go. The staff was very helpful. The best way to do it is to order online and pick up at the back door. Much faster this way. There is almost always a line because the food is so good!!! My husband and I both had The Godfather sandwich ( recommended by staff) SO delicious!!!

This place and this city is why we love road trips! The food was SO GOOD, the service went above and beyond and the South African sweet tea was not to be missed. We went around 5pm on a Thursday evening and had no wait at all. As a family of five with three kiddos under five years old we are always looking for family friendly places to stop for meals, this place had it all, after dinner we enjoyed the beautiful city of Savannah while our kids got to run and play in all that wonderful green space! Will visit again next time we are in Georgia:)

I dragged my family to brave the line so I could try the famed Conquistador chicken sandwich, and it was worth the wait! All of the staff were super friendly and the kept the line moving steadily along. A couple of times Staff members walked the line and handed out menus and ice pops which was a really nice touch that kept the kids from getting too cranky. One lady saw my 2 year old being antsy and she brought him and my 11 year old cookies which absolutely made their day. The food was outstanding. My chicken sandwich, my daughter's salmon sandwich, and my husband's smoked sausage were all perfect and the portions are large. The patio is decorated with fun and funky art and has enough umbrellas to keep your cool. Ren, the staffer working the patio, checked in with us several times and watch so charming and sweet my daughter recommends he be made employee of the month and I concur! We will definitely eat there again.

As someone who doesn't particularly care for salmon, I was hesitant to try their sandwich with salmon on it. But let me tell you - this tasted like no other salmon I've ever had! It was absolutely incredible. I ate every last bit of that sandwich and wanted to get another. My visitor from Britain loved eating here so much that he still talks about it! Also, the staff was entertaining.

Really cool and different in a city with a lot of the same kinds of foods. Refreshing!! I had never had South African food, so I had no point of reference. It was delicious! Tender chicken, two types of sausage and a variety of sauces to liven it up even more! I had a side of peas and carrots and a roobis tea. Just delicious! Best of all, the staff was just so friendly and welcoming. I can't say enough about how important that is to me. 5 stars!
