I like this place but I have to give it 3 stars because of consistency. I have had issues with my meal here more than anywhere else. My kids simply love the place and I love how great it is for them. When the food is good it is 4.5+ stars. I've eaten here at least 15 times over the past 2 years and it has been a coin flip for me each time. I love the eggplant parm when it's crispy and I don't like it when its not. I think you get the picture. I'll still eat here periodically though.

Most restaurants do not offer the level of flavor that you will get from the food at Zona 78. The pizza is outstanding. The menu is varied and has a lot of great choices. The pesto stands as being one of the best from Italian restaurants in the city, it has a strong flavor that creates an excellent bite, it's not underwhelming like other pasta dishes I've had elsewhere.

Understandably, the prices may damper the experience for some. Expect to spend between $16-20 on a plate. However, I have never felt that the food did not warrant the prices. And the portions are sizable, meaning you aren't going to feel like you didn't get enough food.

Killer pizza. Many TV's. Not a drinker but looked like a lot of options. Service was great and we had a fairly large party.

I'm kind of a pizza snob and my brother recommend the place due to the fact I liked Stray Dogs I thought I'd give it a shot. We ordered our pie, 20min wait(?) No big deal and set off for a quick errand . When I got back they opened the pie and the order was wrong! You could tell when the host told the manager (he whadant too happy). He told the chef and he snapped into action throwing a new pie down. The host apologizes and then the manager and they both did a couple more times. Super nice people and went above and beyond to make things right, I can appreciate this type of service. And the pie wasn't too bad either.

I used to work here as head pizza cook. It was a fantastic place to work and learn from. Great for a date, or even a dinner amongst friends.

I always get their excellent grilled cheese sandwich, which includes a side dish. The grilled cheese is different each day.today, it included a couple of different types of cheese and sauteed onions, like what would come in French onion soup.

This is a very nice place with really good food at a very reasonable price. We had the chicken parmigiano (with a perfectly cooked, big chicken breast), the meatball sliders, and the sausage and mussels, both of which contained quite a bit of fennel. We liked everything we had; meals were well prepared and interesting, not just the usual Italian-style fare. The pizzas looked good, too.

I am fine with experimenting. This place tries the southwest spin on Italian. I got the chicken parm even though not a fan of penne and prefer traditional spaghetti with parm. Where too begin. The prices are a tad higher than average. $13.5 for mediocre garlic cheese bread. No complimentary bread, which is a staple at most real family Italian restaurants. The meatball sliders were okay the chicken parm had a huge piece of chicken. The sauce was minimal, just too cutesy when I was just expecting good Italian. The restaurant is nice, the server was excellent. Sorry to say there are better locally owned Italian restaurants

Loved the food, but portions are really small. Kids' meals were the same size as adults'. Very nice waiter!

I really like this place! Went on a family date and the employees were so kind since our toddler is picky and was acting up. The food was amazing. I had a meatball sandwich that I end up getting everytime. A classy Italian restaurant without being too fancy. Inside is big and a nice decor. Great place to bring visiting friends and family. it's not that busy during the day time but I enjoy the quick service and quiet atmosphere
