Didn't know Bookman had moved here. Had a great selection of movies. Staff was nice. Found a lot of gems and steals.

Like Half Priced Books in Texas - but nicer. Remaindered books from publishers bought for pennies on the dollar. Selling your books here is just a step up from donating to charity. Tons of books that didn't sell well on first run. But plenty of sweet deals and more than a few treasures. Also DVDs, some vinyl, lots of magazines. Decent used musical instruments at inflated prices. A lot of pop culture ephemera mixed with local jewelry and odd chain mail couture. A very small rare and collectibles selection. I know they just moved in here and in a few years will most likely acquire a more "broken-in" identity: less generic and more reflective of the community.

Love the new location! Very spacious and we'll organised! Their musical instrument section has considerably grown and the prices on instruments seem to be more reasonable then when I was browsing last year.

One of my favorite Tucson places. Much more than a used media store. Over the years I have found antique tools, stereo equipment, games, music, outdoor gear and of course books and other printed materials. All locations are worth a look, as are the greater Phoenix area places.

This is their new storeand they just transferred over the same problems they had at the Grant store. While some employees very warm, welcoming, there are quite a few more interested in socializing with one another than doing their job. Most not very knowledgeable of books and magazines, so have no idea of what they are looking at for trade. Store itself is nice, big and clean, parking good. Until they resolve the employee problems I'd recommend just skipping thousands Bookmans and going to the ones on Ina or Speedway. Its just a shamecould have been a top notch Bookmans in that much larger store. Maybe someday

I love Bookmans! I've been a happy customer for longer than I can remember. They have an amazing selection of books and other trinkets, and have good trade in offers. Their prices are a little higher than the online giant, but you can hold the book and look through it before you buy which is nice. Also, they have nice tables and wifi throughout the store which makes it a nice place to hangout and leisurely peruse books. It's a Tucson staple that I hope never goes away.

The best Bookmans location is on Ina and Thornydale. The staff at the Grant (now Speedway location at Country Club) are not very helpful. Very low buyback amounts, and overpriced retail prices. Some of the prices here are higher than brand new! They seem to be somewhat of a rip-off

Most of the staff act snotty and they do not tell you how long the wait is for trading in items. The people working at instrument counter are nice. One guy is really friendly, cashiers are ok, the rest of the staff are stuck up, rude and do not even say hi. I use to go several times a week now I stopped going.I only go to Ina store and Wilmot store where staff is friendly and they have a better selection of jewelry, kids stuff, and just about everything. What is with all the rocks and minerals?? Who is going to pay that much? It was so much better when they were on campbell. Management needs to teach the staff some customer service skills before they go out of business.

I love taking a shopping bag of books to Bookmans and seeing what they're worth. Recently I got an $18 store credit and used it to buy a book my book club is reading. The selection is vast, but the emphasis is on current best-sellers. I like the Grant Road location because it's huge. You can call ahead to see if they have a book you want.
