Went here for Colter Wall concert. The price value for the concert was unbeatable. The sound was great. The staff was pleasant. We didn't get the opportunity to eat here. If you are here for a concert you will be standing with nowhere to sit. Our feet were pretty achy by the end of the concert. The bathroom is slightly confusing which is actually sort of funny.

Love the food and the over all atmosphere. They have a bunch of old school video and pinball games. The staff is excellent. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. My favorite bar in Louisville. Also they have alot of live bands come thru.

Great location for a small concert. Good bar atmosphere. Pinball machines available. Owners are cool. Hope to make it back there sometime in the future

Good sound for the love music. Standing room only, no seating for shows. Cool atmosphere with pinball machines amd other arcade games. There was a diner type area (we didnt ear or drink there, so I can't offer an opinion). Overall a great experience.

Strong drinks, not bad prices, arcade games and good food. On One hand I like the bigger dance floor/venue, but I don't like how crowded it is outside now because of that. Place is really cool for shows though since it IS so small. Makes any show pretty intimate. Even if it is crowded.

Great place for shows that won't break the bank and decent lineup of bands you've haven't heard of but should check out. The food is surprisingly good for bar grub. Friendly staff.

Z bar features a lot of good music with thier new stage area. For a dive bar though the drinks are a bit overpriced. $5 Rum&Coke and $6 drafts on top of entry fee for the band or just a regular old cover charge is a bit much. It's good for college students or hipsters with deep pockets but personally I'll avoid it unless they've got music I want to see.

Tank and the Bangas was playing there. Food was great, concert was amazing, the owners were awesome. The new concert hall is standing room only, but if you have a physical disability (like me) they will make a space for you to sit down. I truly appreciated all they did to make me comfortable so I could enjoy the show too.

Good beer list, pleasant atmosphere especially outside. Music gets too loud and the space echoes. Owners and managers are fun and occasionally do things like ordering pizza for everyone late at night. Outdoors is dog-friendly.

Great food, atmosphere and the staff is laid-back and friendly. They have 10 old acrade machines all of which are playable. The stage and acoustics sound great as they recently remodeled :] . Highly recommend for a night out , great bar/restaurant and venue!

Zanzabar is the best place to hang out in Louisville. The staff is friendly and attentive and will remember your name. Their pinball machines are fun to play and meticulously maintained. Food and alcohol prices are fair and the cuisine is always on point.

Zanzabar is a great local place to either see a show or grab a great meal and a cold beer. The staff is always having fun but working hard! I have been going there 6 plus years and never had a bad time!!! So if you like good food a amazing beer selection and awesome local and visiting bands this is your place to go!! If you go tell Antz and John along with the whole amazing staff Chris Video sent ya!!! See ya there!!

Some of the best pinball selections in the city, no, make that region. I don't know who maintains those things, but they are immaculate! Great beer selection. Decent prices. Live music. I wonder if they'd let me move in?

Love the Zanzabar! Only place in town I can get great food, stimulating and diverse atmosphere and see some of the best bands that come through Louisville! Laid back staff and the coolest pinball machine collection I've ever seen!
