Unbelievably delicious food. The staff is great and seem to enjoy and engage in their work. Try a side of the smashie, you won’t regret it.
The staff and atmosphere were great. With that being said, I was not impressed with my entree. It was well prepared, but I just didn't like the taste.
Beautiful, on-trend spot serving up southern classics with a gourmet flair. Everything was excellent (including the service.) Great for date night.
Harvest was a flawless meal top to bottom. The cheese dip appetizer with the fresh pretzel roll was so good I cleaned the bowl with a spoon. The tartar was as delicious as it was beautiful. I had the duck breast that was without question the best I've ever ordered. I will be back.
Biscuits and gravy were amazing! So good. Great atmosphere. I love that they promote the farmers that they source their food from.
Very friendly service and excellent food. Had amazing bloody mary bar in the morning, later that night had 3 pigs and rabbit meatballs appetizers, both delicious. And plus they had Old Style beer.don't laugh, that means a lot to a Chicago guy! As a bonus, we were treated like royalty when we came back the 2nd time that day, and because of how we were treated we returned again the following evening. That time we had the silver carp (again, don't laughit was amazing, light and flaky) and steak tartare (amazing). The owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming, taking time to talk to us even though they were super busy. And a shout out to our new friend Tim, the General Manager, who was very kind and hustles the entire time for all customers.
Wife and I came here for brunch and it was amazing. Biscuits & gravy was delicious, as was the country fried benedict. Staff was super nice too.
Best place in town. Staff was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
I love the farm-to-table dining concept, and seek out restaurants that practice this when we eat out/travel, which is quite frequently. Although the food here was good, I cannot understand why the menu options were so heavy when it is 90+ degrees outside! It felt like a fall or winter menu: creamy, fried, etc If you source fresh local produce, why not let that really shine through in the dish? Also, the smoked trout in the caeser was delicious, but the 2 tiny pieces were not sufficient for the amount of romaine that accompanied it. Finally, if you have a half empty restaurant and we have had a reservation for a few weeks, why did you seat us next to the restrooms?
I totally understand that when an opportunity presents itself make the best of it . But when you have an apparent fine dining restaurant there is no need to gouge your customers for Derby weekend..
Food and services was good BUT
$100 reservation guarantee Minuit potions Double + pricing.you could do better..
Go Kentucky Derby !!!!!!!!
Sorta stumbled upon this place by accident. Awesome farm-to-table type cafe with excellent food. Very fresh and delicious. Service was also top notch. I will be here again next time I'm in town.
My wife and I dined in at Harvest shortly after it opened on Friday, April, 7th. The atmosphere was pleasant and warm. Our server was amiable and attentive. We both ordered the fried chicken dinner, which is served with greens and mashed potatoes. The chicken was burnt. Not just the crust, but the actual bone in the chicken was charred black. This obviously made for less than succulent chicken, and instead have us dry meat. The bright spot were the sides, that despite their minute portions, were delicious. If the chicken were top notch, it may merit then $24.00 menu price. In our case, it was chalked up to a swing and a miss, not likely not return for another let down.
One of the best restaurants in Louisville with out a doubt. I have eaten here three times and and the food is exceptionally good. I travel a lot for business and get to eat in some pretty upscale places and Harvest is up there with the best. What's so cool about this place is that it's laid back, very cool and super friendly. The 'locally grown' philosophy behind the cuisine is not some made up marketing ploy. these guys are passionate about changing the way fresh organic restaurant food is served I'm a big fan one of my current top restaurants in Louisville!
A slightly more upscale and trendy restaurant with a creative, farm-to-table menu. Service is understated and solid. Nice bourbon selection as well. When I want to go low key, sit, relax and spend a little more I will eat here. If I want to enjoy a more hole-in-the-wall experience (and a smaller menu) I'll go down the street to the Garage. Two excellent neighbors ont his block.
