I enjoyed the atmosphere! It's very quirky and fun, the food is very good. I got the TLC Biscuit with eggs and provolone cheese. It's a very nice place to hang out with friends and family.

Features locally sourced food/ coffee. It's an amazing brunch spot. They have the basic alcoholic beverages you would expect for a brunch spot, but the food is what I come for. Their sweet potato browns are my favorite. The biscuits and coffee are good, too. I really like Booker T's East Side Hasher and sometimes just a simple egg and cheese-biscuit. The french-toast is also very good. I have had quite a few of the breakfast options and they were all delicious! The prices are reasonable, and staff is nice. The parking is too small. When it is busier, you do have to park down the road and walk a few blocks back to the restaurant. Eclectic decor. They also feature local artists' art on their walls, which is nice. This is in my top 3 favorite breakfast spots in Charlotte.

The food was delicious, but the service was absolutely terrible. We sat outside because we had a dog. Our waitress took our drink orders and didn't take our food order until some 40 minutes later! We actually had to track her down to get our order. Our food then took about another 40 minutes to come out. We mentioned that people came in after us and got there food before, but the waitress lied and said they didn't. Plus our waitress never refilled our drinks and never came to check on us or ask if we needed anything. We were also told they can't split checks on the weekend. We only had 2 separate checks for 4 people which is not that hard to do!
Even though the food was great, we will not be back. Service was awful and the waitress didn't deserve a tip.response / report this review -

This is a good restaurant to visit when you want to catch up with a friend or a few friends. It is small and intimate (inside and out). The food is good. The waiters and waitresses are polite and friendly. Don't bring a crowd herethere won't be room!

It's sad. The food is amazing and the people are barely average. The old man at the bar groping the hostess while we were eating was enough to ruin our appetite. Not to mention all the people waiting to be seated who haf to witness it. Completely unprofessional.
One positive note, ask for Steven. He's the only person in the building who knows how to take care of his guests. Kudos.response / report this review -

Visiting from Charleston, food was awesome. Service sucked really bad. Took a long while to get our drinks and food was almost an hour. Which was fine until at the end. Server told us on weekends they can't split checks. One check only. Would have been great to know that ahead of time. So we give him 4 cards for the 85$ bill. Comes back 20 mins later and says. We can only run two cards. Come on. Tell us all of that when we sit down . Also very rude. We said that we are ok as far as more drinks and that we were about to leave. His response is "Good" Jerk. Hipster bar who only cares about hipster patrons. Food was dope though.

Breakfast for lunch! Great find in Charlotte. My kids loved the pancakes and french toast. My son tasted the home fries and said "Oh man! These are so good!". The bunny rancheros were excellent. Loved the atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommended!

When we showed up there was no indoor seating, we were told to "sit wherever we want", so our only option was to sit outside in 95 degree weather with no shade. No one seemed to care when we said we were burning outside, they offered us a high top table (we had someone handicapped and a 9 year old with us) so we stayed outside.
When we asked when our food would be coming out, we were told "there's a new cook in the kitchenso hopefully soon" our food came out 30 minutes later.
It wasn't until our food came out (at least an hour after we ordered it) that they asked if we wanted more water and an umbrella.
The pancakes were hard, the nachos were soggy from sitting too long. All of our food was really unsatisfying for the price and time it took to get to our table.
My boyfriend and I usually come here for breakfast, when our family came into town we decided to take them here for a nice lunch and we will probably never be back. We both work in food service and understand most issues that happen in a restaurant, but the service was down right terrible- we were never offered and apology or anything, it was like they didn't think twice about the table of 5 willing to spend money there or returning customers.response / report this review -

Great food with a decent variety. They have all day breakfast now too. Their dinner specials are pricey but very good. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the service is usually on point.

We love this place for brunch but lately there has been a bad odor inside the restaurant. It smells like a dirty bar, kind of a mildew smell. Y'all need to get that under control because this is an otherwise great restaurant!

Best little spot for breakfast/brunch (or dinner!) in all of Charlotte. The place has a really cool vibe as others have noted and it's totally trendy. I frequent the place anytime I'm in Charlotte and no disappointment to report. Food is consistently good -- the blazing saddles omelette is my favorite. Overall it's totally worth stopping buy for some great food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place! The brunch is always so good! There isn't one thing you could order and would not enjoy. Definitely recommend the head chefs weekly specials. Especially his pancake creations.

Place has "character" and very friendly and professional staff. The only negative thing I could say is about the cleanliness. It doesn't seem like they pay too much attention to cleaning after each guest/customer even when it's not busy. It also doesn't have the "sanitary" feel to it (sanitary grade 96.0). I noticed that not all the staff wear gloves/hair net/hat when handling food. Food it self doesn't look/taste fresh. I had the Noda salad for lunch and it tasted like it's been out all day. Great location - It seems like a good place to hang out and have coffee. However, based on my experience, I wouldn't order anything simply because I wouldn't wanna get sick. It's kinda like waffle houseif that makes any sense.
