Fantastic rental property. Plenty of space, close to Logan and within an hour of Columbus. Game room and bar provide lots of fun for the entire family. Will be back.
Had the most wonderful stay in the Outlook cottage with my family of 8.
This place is awesome! Close to everything you want to visit. Clean cabins with everything you need. For the price of a hotel room with no view, hot tub, grilling and nature. This is hands down the place to be! We will be back to Harvest Moon for sure!!
Great cabins, great location, responsive management. We'll be back 😁
Really liked this place. We stayed in Peacepipe, a small but comfortable two-bedroom cottage. What I liked most was the cabins are well spaced so you feel secluded (in a good way), plus acres of your own space to walk/hike--quite unlike many of the traditional camping places I have gone to. Clean, modern and ready to relax in hot tube was a plus also. The inside was clean and well decorated. Only negatives was the outside of the cabin looked somewhat worn, with a mossy roof and holes in the wood eves that made a great home for the bees. Could use some TLC here.

This most recent vacation we decided to go a little more remote and rustic and stayed at their Creeksong cabin. The land around it is even more beautiful but the cabin definitely feels closer to roughing it with a wood burning stove and no dishwasher. We still loved it for a change though.
Very nice large "cabin". Needs a stone pathway to the firepit for when the area is muddy. Lots of entertainment options. A lot of rules posted and video cameras all around. Feels like Big Brother is watching. Only provided 5 pieces of wood for multiple fireplaces and wood burning stoves for a whole weekend.
These cottages are very nice
Harvest Moon is incredible. Go there every year. I read a recent review stating that the owners do not refund due to power outtages. Well, duh!!! If they read their rental agreement, well, they agreed to that! We were there the same weekend and lost power but the owners were on top of it and indicated power was out due to trees on lines. Why on earth would I expect a refund if it was not the owner's fault. Anyway, best stay, wonderful cabins, great location. Will be back.
We stayed in the Chateau. The bedrooms smelled like must and mildew. Very disappointing in many aspects for the money. Definitely a business to these owners! Examples span from cheap tissue thin toilet paper to the algae covered unmaintained pond that is boasted on their website. The appliances are old and outdated and the grill is tiny. We awoke Sunday to no power or water. So instead of having breakfast and taking morning showers we were forced to pack and leave earlier then we had intended. We called and explained the unfortunate situation and suggested a reimbursement of some kind was in order. We were emailed and told no reimbursement would be permitted because power loss was out of there control. So renters beware!!!! If the power goes out at these cabins they have no generator as a back up and you will also not be getting a refund if the power outage was an act of god!!!!!

Harvest Moon Cabins are where you want to be. We have stayed many places the first ten years we started going down to Hocking Hills, but when we found the Harvest Moon Cabins, there is no other choice for us. We spent the last 3 nights and 4 days at the Overlook Cabin and it is just perfect. When we arrived the music was softly playing and the fireplace was burning, talk about feeling welcome! Over the years we have stayed in other cabins and they all offer nothing but top quality in location (all are isolated alone among the trees & you do not see the other cabins) design, very clean and tastefully decorated. They offer movies, books, games and cards just in case you have forgotten something. Each has a view of pure nature and the quiet sound of hearing nothing but the birds or wind through the trees is so refreshing. I would suggest two glasses of wine and an evening in the hot tub! As we sat there looking at the trees covered with snow and sipping our wine, we couldn’t help but feel very blessed to be able to enjoy such beauty. Honestly, this could have been Aspen or Vail you would never know the difference, except the high cost of the plane ticket LOL. If you want quality nestled in woods with nature surrounding you then Harvest Moon are the Cabins for you. Sherry & Joe Bailey
