I liked the sauce and the breading/spice level was good But why, oh why, do all these fried chicken places use white meat??? It's unfortunately, like so many other joints, rather dry in the inside since they use chicken breast. Please please use dark meat inside - thigh makes for the best fried chicken!
Great new chicken place!! Stopped in for lunch today with my wife, and we loved it! We both ordered tender meals with Risky (Medium) flavor. The risky was not Hot but it wasn’t Mild… so good. 👍🏼👍🏼 The fries were season and really delicious as well. Staff was friendly and just an all-around great experience. We will definitely go back, and most definitely recommend.
Zach’s Chicken was certainly a pleasant surprise. As I would pass by the Pita Pita on Lake Forest Dr at least once a week, I found it quite amusing that it seemed there was another restaurant opening inside the same building. And by that, I mean they literally share a dining room. This humorous development didn’t inspire much confidence in me, but of course I had to try it, and I was certainly not disappointed. With pleasant and helpful staff, cooked to order chicken, and the (almost standard, by now) “choose your heat level” model, it was everything you’d expect from another of the many upcoming hot chicken sandwich joints, and for a reasonable price. The chicken was perfect, the sandwiches were simple and tasty, and there were a variety of sauces that each offered something different and delicious. I always get the second-to-hottest spice level at these places, and I have to say, Zach’s seemed significantly less spicy than comparable restaurants, but you’re really looking for some chicken that’ll make you cry, you’re not missing out on too much. All in all, Zach’s Chicken is definitely a must try for chicken sandwich lovers.
My brother delivers for Uber eats and noticed that is was open and said we should go. Very Good chicken and good price in comparison to chicken similar to it. The employees were really nice and helpful. Would recommend!!
This restaurant shares a space with Pita Pita, where I eat a lot. I saw they had just opened so I decided to try their “Sloppy Zach” with a heat level of crazy hot and bbq sauce substituted instead of the Zach’s sauce and I was not disappointed. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The chicken fingers were big and juicy with a crispy breading. I am not a huge fan of Kale, but I could eat that kale slaw all day. The heat level was perfect for me (caution: I love spicy foods). It was spicy but you could still taste the other spices and the chicken. Highly recommended. If you’re a fan of raising cane’s give this place a try. You may come out with a new fav chicken spot
