I came here for an oil change. As long as you make an appointment, you are in and out in about 30 minutes. Staff is courteous and very professional. If you don't make an appointment, be prepared to wait. They still do their best to get you in and out, but it takes longer, which is to be expected in my opinion. I would definitely recommend their service department. As for sales, I don't have any experience for that department.
My husband bought his truck here so we do service here. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is always so friendly and we are always taken care of quickly.
Kevis Tanner was very informative, relaxed, not the usual pushy salesman, very knowledgeable, and provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Definitely going back to Hayes for our next vehicle purchase.
Good deal and great service! Adam and Burke were able to meet our needs and move us through the car buying process quickly! No pressure and no gimmicks at Hayes!
I have to say that I finally found a great service department. Finding a solid, insightful service center for my 2016 Camaro Rs has not been an easy task. The service reps. were polite and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. When I got my vehicle home, I went into my OCD mindset and double checked everything that was looked at during the visit. Not one single smudge on the transmission pan or any random mess or nothing looked out of place. No smudges on my steering wheel or on my door panel. I highly recommend this great establishment to everyone. Thank you Hayes Service Department of Alto :-)
Hayes Chevrolet is the BEST!! I have purchased 4 or 5 vehicles from Hayes in Baldwin. The sales staff is always nice and so is the service staff. The sales manager, Adam Ramey and sales person, Matt Armour were the very best to work with and went beyond their duty to get me the best deal.. Andy, Shawn and Wesley are always knowledgeable and courteous when I have a question or problem. Thank you for being such a wonderful place to buy a car either new or used..
My daughter had a tire blow out on her first driving trip out of town. We found Hayes Buick via OnStar and called ahead (our daughter was upset and unsure about what to do). The service manager took down my information (we live 200+ miles away) and had his team on the lookout for my daughter when she arrived. They replaced the tire and put back the spare timely and had her on her way safe and sound. Additionally, the called me to let me know the status giving me comfort as a parent. The kindness and care went well above what our local dealership does and I would buy my next car from them based on this experience alone. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the facility in which they work.
Tuesday/Wednesday my grandfather brought in his vehicle due to the oil light and engine light that wouldn't cut off. He told the Chevrolet mechanics what he believed to be wrong with the vehicle and suggested that they changed the oil filters and clean the oil pan and so they did (it cost him $350).
On Thursday the oil light showed up again and so my Grandfather and I drove back to the Chevrolet place where he was told that they believed it was possibly his "oil pump." The gentleman became very defensive when I jumped in and asked why this issue was not found prior to my grandfathers payment and he proceeded to accuse my grandfather saying, "he didn't tell us he wanted the oil light off." (Obviously that was the reason why my grandfather brought it in to begin with.) I asked the gentleman how much was that going to cost and he informed me that it would cost my grandfather $150 for them to even look for the issue and that "there's not enough hours today for them to even look at it so it would have to wait until Monday."
I began to explain to this gentleman that my grandfather is 80 years old, in poor health, and has dementia and that due to his health bills can't even afford to buy groceries and that my mother and I have been helping him. I also explained that he used a credit card to pay for a service that wasn't even needed for his vehicle and that he didn't even have the money to pay for that. The gentleman had absolutely no empathy but continued to blame my grandfather for him not asking them to make the oil light go away. THANKS CHEVROLET! On top of his health issues and depression, he came home so worried about his car and upset that I had to remind him over and over that it would be okay and that I would find a way to get his car fix.
Here's my issue with this Chevrolet place:
1. He brought it his vehicle and told the mechanic about the oil light and suggested that the oil filters and oil pan be cleaned BUT the mechanics had to have known that wasn't the issue when they looked at his filters and cleaned his Oil pan yet they consciously choose to give him a service that was unnecessary instead of fixing the problem.
2. The gentleman (technician) was very cold about the whole situation. The original mechanic (Andy) hid in the office even though my grandfather specifically asked for him. I believe Andy hid because he knew he had done wrong.
3. You took advantage of an elderly sick man who went home upset and worried to death about his vehicle. He was trying to make repairs on that vehicle because he wanted to sell it so he could have money, but now that seems like that will not happen.
SHAME ON YOU.
Tom was a great help in helping me through the process of selecting "MY RED TRUCK"! It was easy and quick and I'm going to enjoy it for many years to come!
Very professional. Kept me updated on progress of car repairs. Done in a timely manner. Will use again for any services needed. Thank you Hayes Chevrolet Baldwin GA.
This place is simply unbelievable. Just when you thought true customer service no longer existed, when you feared the customer is king concept had vanished, when you were absolutely convinced it was all about the money, along comes Hayes Cadillac in Alton GA.
Hayes Cadillac sticks out like a red polar bear in a snow storm. I am so impressed I could write multille pages about my experiences, but let's keep it short and suffice to say that I have dealt with them twice. Both experiences in the service department.
As a general rule, it's safe to say that the best experiences at a dealership are normally had at the sales end of it, because in the process of wanting to sell you a car, most people are at their best and represent themselves as professional as possible.
But we all know that once the sale is over and you start dealing with service, their attitude about you as a customer starts to drop more rapid than an anvil out of an airplane.
Seeing as how I never even purchased my vehicle from this dealership, my expectations as a service customer with a warranty issue were minimal.
That couldn't have been farther from the truth. From my initial phone call with Haley, to the appointment, to the check-in, to the brand-new Cadillac loaner car, to the expediting my issue because I was not local and hanging out, to forgetting my glasses in the car and having Haley mail them, I left there with nothing other than a big smile and a feeling that someone really cared. Haley had just risen to the top of my A-list on good, quality people!
My second issue was dealt with by a gentleman by the name of Shaun. Initially I was concerned that I didn't get Haley again, making the foolish assumption that the service I received was an individual by individual basis and didn't reflect the overall attitude of the dealership. More specifically the service department.
Once again, that couldn't have been farther from the truth. I wouldn't have thought it was possible to provide better customer service than I had received by Haley, but Shaun provided the exact same level of care and concern.
I had some VERY special requirements that I'm not going to expound upon here, as I wouldn't want other customers taking advantage of the dealership and requesting/demanding the same thing that they provided for me.
But if I just said Shaun went over and above the call of duty? I would be grossly understating the effort he put forth. Even when I had already accepted the initial way that he proposed to deal with the situation for me, in which I was already happy and content, he STILL went even further to see if you could do me an even better deal.
Simply being happy and content wasn't good enough for this gentleman, he wanted to make sure I left there ecstatic.
When you have two people that are providing this level of customer care, to an individual who never even purchased a vehicle from their dealership, when they were both dealing with a warranty issue in which there wasn't a whole lot of money involved, that's how you know that these people genuinely care. It's not fake and it's not a show.
They are trying to explain to you that they want your business for life. And you know what? They have gained it. You can bet your butt that when it comes time to buy a new vehicle, they will be the ones to get my business.
And If the service department is in any way indicative of the type service that I will receive in sales, well let's just say I'll look forward to the next time I need a vehicle :)
No pressure ! Smooth sailing, pressure is a turn off to me. I am too old to be pushed. Thanks to Adam Ramey my sales person. I will be a return customer. H. Dexter Stanley
