"Best sushi I've had outside of Japan" - my husband. This place is a hidden gem. Excellent sushi, BYOB, consistent quality and service. Staff so friendly and attentive. Get the King Tuna Roll, it's amazing. Their cooked food is good too, but come here for sushi.

I was born and raised in San Francisco spent 40 years there, and this compares to the sushi I grew up with. Excellent sashimi very cold and very good quality. Family run business who works very hard to make sure you're happy. Cooked food is excellent also, with very good soup

Great service and food was OK for the most part. The last time I was here, the food was overly salty and didn't really have the heart to say anything about it just haven't really gone back since. The staff was really friendly though!

Advertise Japanese style food including sushi. Clean well-organized updated venue. Service was well trained. Value-wise was average. We did enjoy I love the soups.

Very high quality fish prepared expertly. Servers are friendly. Nice, simple atmosphere and reasonably priced. Remember to BYOB if interested. Don't let the strip mall location dissuade you from visiting.

Great lunch specials. Sounds like they have an issue with their CC machine/service where customers are getting billed twice. They usually catch it, but it takes days to get the money back. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Wonderful food and service. Will be going back often..It's so good, I don't even wanna leave a review in fear of it getting busier. This is the best sushi around Pittsburgh, I've eaten it almost every where.

We love yama sushi! The staff is excellent, personable and friendly. The restaurant is always clean and will maintained. And the food. Oh. My. Goodness! So very good. Tasty and we are regulars now!
