In Austin for the weekend and decided to see what this town has to offer on pizza. Not only am I beyond satisfied with the staff and the service but this is hands down the best pizza I have ever consumed!! The combo between quality of ingredients and the combinations they have to offer and thats what sets this place above ALL competition! I live 8 hours away and will look forward to future visits to this rad town and will being a repeat customer EVERY time I come back!
Delicious pizza. Good service. Don't read the other stupid reviews. They need to go back to the 'burbs.
Unique toppings on pizza! I got sweet potato and garlic, the crust is really thin, but the taste is jam packed!
You order inside, they heat it up and give it to you at the window. Support your local business and check out the massive poster wall in the eating area.
Usually, when I dine at East side pies, there is usually great customer service. I went in a week ago and was treated quite rudely, screamed at and refused my money back for the slice I received. A manager was kind enough to apologize and stated I was entitled a refund. A convenient place for a quick bite after a day at the library.
Good, high quality ingredients are used on every pizza and by the slice options are decent. However, like other reviewers, my pizza was a little more floppy than crispy.
I would recommend Home Slice or even Spartan Pizza 5 blocks south as two better alternatives.
Got a large pepperoni, the basic standard for families with kids. The crust was thin and deliciously crunchy. Slices were huge so we had to fold them in half to eat it but there's nothing wrong with that. Perfect amount of sauce to toppings ratio. The cheese was a delicious blend. The pizza WAS fairly greasy which I didn't mind but it did give me heartburn later. Then again, it might have been the giant pepperoni slicesand the three slices of pizza I ate. I'd go back and recommend this to others.
I love this location especially for the little outdoor patio. You can eat your pizza at tables overlooking Rosewood Avenue, and enjoy the East Austin vibes.
Great pizza with great service. If it's your first time they'll help you understand the menu. The medium is by far a large anywhere else and the pizza is delicious. How they were able to get the thin crust to be crispy without charring it is great and adds an awesome crunch to your slice. In all a great stop for some pizza at a great price.
I love LOVE THIS PLACE! I remember when they had just opened and their lease was about due and they weren't sure if they were going to stay. Look how far you guys have grown!! Best pizza, I just wish there was one in South Austin!!!!
An Austin staple. Delicious thin crust pizza with a variety of sauce and topping options. Pricey but amazing. I always order to-go, but I've herd their by-the-slice options are good too.
Tasty-ish, but WAY OVERPRICED and overrated.
A small salad, ONE pizza roll and ONE garlic knot will run you almost NINE DOLLARS. You could get an entire pizza at most any other pizza spot for that. My salad was small, but had generous amounts of each ingredient, except the greens- the base of the salad. My "fresh" pizza roll was COLD as was the garlic knot. The roll was puffed up and had very little substance. Marinara cold but flavorful, however far too sweet.
Their pizza is THIN AF. So if you like thin you'll like it. BUT to me VALUE FOR THE MONEY IS LOW. Salad dressing is "homemade" but tastes of cheap canola oil.
The place itself is GHETTO and DIRTY. Help is curt and gruff, but quick to take orders during the day.
Who are these people that think this place is 5 stars? Never been out of the neighborhood?
