The lady did a good job on my hair. But it was way too pricey. For what I paid, you would have thought I got some kind of conditioning treatment on top of my cut and color.

Love this salon and all the stylists. They can accommodate walk-ins and they always have someone there to greet you and offer you a beverage at the front. They also just remodeled and the salon looks the best I've ever seen. I use Jenny Kellems as my stylist and she is AMAZING!!! She specializes in color, corrective color and styling, especially great for fancy events.

Love Ya Ya's Salon! I've been going to Deanna for the past couple years and she has transformed my hair from over-processed blonde to beautiful natural-looking golden locks! I love the way she does my high-lights and low-lights, she does a perfect combination. She always gives me personal attention and has never double-booked me with another client. So I'm not sure what "Destin Beach Mama" is talking about? Also, the receptionist has always been very sweet and welcoming to me! She always offers me a drink as soon as I walk in and even though I don't tip her after my shampoos she is still just as pleasant. I have referred a few friends to Ya Ya's and as far as I know, they are all very happy with the service and with their hair. Always looking forward to my next appointment, thanks to Deanna and Ya Ya's Salon!

I tried this salon out maybe 4-5 times. Although Deanna did do a good job with the color, the cut & highlights were sloppy. It was good, just not the quality you would expect for the money charged. I didn't like being swapped around during my appointments as she worked in other clients during my scheduled appointments made 4-6 weeks in advance. This happened every time. They are pricey & I expect the hair dresser's attention, not to be working in other appointments during my color/cut/style or talking on her cell phone while cutting my hair. ***Also*** the receptionist feels out which clients she can get tips from by rinsing their hair out (for the hairdresser). If she sees you won't tip her for her "nice gesture" of rinsing your hair (she'll just call you over to the rinsing station) then after a couple of times she will not come over & volunteer this anymore & soon thereafter the sweetness becomes snottiness! (Which by the way I was paying & tipping the HAIR DRESSER pricey $ for my cut/color/style, RIGHT?!) RIDICULOUS!!! But I guess that setup works out for both of them as the receptionist gets some extra $ & the hairdresser gets extra time to clean up her station! I also observed that they don't seem too happy if you bring your kids in with you while you are paying however the lady working there has her kid running all over the salon disrupting everyone else that is paying for service (?) This happened every time I was there.I know this because I could constantly hear the gossiping about the clients between the hairdressers while in the chair! Make it go both ways ladies!!!
