Worse service ever, chicken smell old and aweful but entertainment was Awesome..just dont go hungry!!!

They host speed dating on Wednesdays as a monthly event and instead of having eligible bachelors participating, they filled in the poor male attendance with the male staff from the club who had no relationship goals. Pretty much a d*ck move by the organizers. The club itself is cool. Outdoor area and a cozy club inside for a true "kickback party" vibe with over stuffed chairs. No room to really dance inside. Staff was polite and if you like supporting Black owned businesses, it's worth the trip. (Pass on their speed dating events. lol)

The outdoor area was beautiful. I really enjoyed the jazzy soulful r&b live music they played in the beginning of the time I was there. The big chairs are comfy and it's a really nice place to hang out. Dressy casual attire

Worst service EVER!!! I've tried on numerous occasions to give Xen Lounge a chance due to the fact the people and atmosphere are so great! But besides the amazing Jurni and Daffney I can't deal with the service/wait staff. Both of these ladies are always on it! Kudos to you ladies because any other time I can't get a drink or food in a timely manner. I was completely ripped of by a waiter by the name of Brian who instead of apologizing for his mistake proceeds to argue with me . He double charged me for wine but being that it took almost an hour to resolve this my boyfriend was like okay once you fix it let me just close my tab . He comes back with a ticket for my boyfriend to sign that still has the wine I didn't receive nor drink on there . The manager Ky was extremely rude and confrontational asking why wasn't this issue and other my party had handled in the beginning. Honestly we were attempting to make the best of it and enjoy the show despite the hour wait for wings and calamari. The time before this I had to disable my debit card in order for her to come back . Do better Xen . It's already too much to pay $10 to stand in a sardine can of a venue but to be required to pay $25 min to sit at a table with poor service and tip is a little over the top don't you think? You can't put a price on great service but you've already stamped $35 for horrible service . Very disappointed. And the only 5 star comments are from EMPLOYEES!!! And friends of a few of the staff members.

Owned and operated by the Tisha Campbell (the TV wife of Martin Lawrence), this trendy spot in studio city is a wonderful place to have a meal (reservations well in advance is a must) or a drink while rubbing shoulders with many of Hollywood's big stars. The live music is a big hitand Tisha herself often performs on a Friday night. Best of all, they open their stage to up and coming R&B and Jazz artists with an audience that may include many of music's biggest record producers.

I'm in el love with XEN Lounge.
If you want a place to go, let go, and just have fun, then XEN Lounge is the place. It doesn't get busy until around 12:30 or 1:00, so it's a great place for the beginning of the end of your night. Wear whatever you want, dance however you want, be whomever you want XEN Lounge isn't the place for judgment, as everyone is usually too drunk to care -It's kind of like reliving all four (or maybe 5 and a half) years of college in a few hours.
A great place to escape from the Crescent Street/Midtown club scene.response / report this review
