Beautiful, tranquil spot with a few trails and a pond. Plenty of parking. Ducks, turtles and fish - be mindful as there's a sign not to feed wildlife.

Love this park! Great hiking trails, 2 small ponds/lakes with ducks, koi and turtles galore. Love that it's so close to home, too. right in the San Fernando Valley. Bring the kids for a great nature experience.

So many productions have been filmed here, even Andy Griffith! It's a great little quaint oasis and a hop/skip from Sunset. Great trails and perfect for a picnic.

People who visit are nice (mostly) and the people in the ranger station are awesome! Great place for friendly dogs, kids, ducks, turtles, lizards and people. Just make sure you follow the rules of the road, which should go without saying. I love this place!

A well kept secret in Beverly Hills/ West Hollywood with great views and most important peace and quiet just a few minutes away. Plenty of places to park.

Be careful while driving in the park.. there is many areas without guard rails and step cliff's. Not a place to drive at night but hence why the have fences to keep people out during sunset to sunrise.

Nicely shaded park with many, many old trees and a peaceful lake. Ducks, turtles, and goldfish can be seen in the park as well. Lots of space and trails to run and hike. I love listening to the sounds of the frogs croaking in unison in the evenings as I run through the park.

Really enjoyed my visit here. Was looking for a nice walk instead of a hard hike and that's what I got! The employees are so friendly and gave me a map with the perfect route for the amount of time I wanted to spend at the park. By the pond, we had turtle and duck visitors who were unafraid of our presence and came to nap nect to us! Hard to believe this is minutes away from my residence in crazy Hollywood.

This is a really nice unique place for Los Angeles. There's multiple ponds to explore, a hill to climb or a much more gradual gentle loop around the main pond. Ducks are ever present and in warmer times (Most of the year) Turtles and Frogs show up. They don't like you feeding the animals, but it doesn't stop Angelinos dying to part with old bread or lettuce.

WARNING: There is a stop sign on the main entrance that is under serious video surveillance and they will mail you a ticket if you don't come to a 100% stop. It's a park ticket, and not actually a police ticket pay it if you feel like it. It starts at 100$ and will go up to 200$ if you don't pay the first time. Contesting it is a pain, maybe just pay if you get one even tho there would be no legal repercussions if you don't.

Parking can be tricky. You may find spots near the entrance to some trails. However there is a huge one all the way to the north of the canyon near the school.
Nice park. For hiking trails I'd recommend the lower canyon as the paths are wider and clearly marked. Better views. Upper canyon has narrow unmarked path. Careful as some path can lead to people's homes but clearly marked no trespassing. There is a road called duck/turtle pond which is in middle of the park really nice to see.
