I can't thank workplace enough! This place took the stress of the search off my shoulders. I landed a job in just one week! I'm very happy with my experience! The staff there are amazing.

I have had nothing but problems with this temp agency, from late paychecks to non- communication. Now that it is Tax season, I have sent e-mails and called into the facility. They did not respond to my e-mail and when I called in I was told they have till the 31st. Which did not answer my question of how they are sending the W-2s. This company has very poor communication skills and lacks professionalism.

    Mr. Medlin,

As the Executive Director of WorkPlace Staffing, we are sorry you did not receive the answer you were hoping from us. The first time you let us know that you were disappointed, I called you right back and left a voice message for you, with no reply.

Our ads are meant to draw as many applicants as possible, so that we can screen the top matches for our clients, which is common for all employers to do. That does not mean you are not qualified or not a match, you may just not be the top match. Some clients are very particular and that is exactly why they pay us a fee to screen for them. Sometimes our counselors will have you fill out the application and run your information by the client to see if there is an interest before making you come in for an interview with us. I feel we are very sensitive to those that are unemployed if we have any hesitation. We do not want to waste anyone’s time making them get dressed up, waste gas and more, to come in for an interview, only for them not to get picked. The counselor was trying to help you. We certainly do not have quotas on how many applications are filled out.

We at WorkPlace put your resume in front of a client. That client made the decision that you were not the right person for their job. It is disappointing and discouraging and we understand but, we do not control the decision.

They want ss number and drivers license (to steal identity). I wouldn't give it - so, Deb decided she no longer would help. I don't think this company could find Mickey Mouse a job at Disney. Stay Away!
