The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Very clean and updated rooms with plenty of extra touches. You just don't find little hotels like this anymore. They care and it shows. Take the extra minute drive to stay here. More then just a place to sleep. Unique rooms. We will be back again and again.

Nice setting. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Found fingernail clippings on the floor. Not just one but a pile. There was a hair pick in a dresser drawer. And dog food on the floor in the bathroom.

A very nice family owned business. We have stayed here multiple times and have always had a great stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. There are rooms available with little kitchens as well, and they allow pets for only 5$ a stay! We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed!

very nice and clean, we slept well, in room temperature control and pretty comfortable bed. The free wood for the fire pit was great and my dogs seemed to enjoy it too!

This is by far, the best motel in Grayling. This motel is family owner and operated and they allow pets. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. (No need to bring dishes, silverware, or cookware) Our room was so beautiful, we had a good nights sleep. They have nature trails in the back, two different campfire locations and a bike trail across the street. I would give them 10 stars if possible!

This place was great. Our room was huge. It had a kitchen with a stove top, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, even cast iron pans. There was even ice in the icecube trays in the freezer. We were completely blown away. The bathroom had a really nice walk in shower. The beds were very comfortable too. And the room was so clean. We will definitely be back.
*extra added bonus, we even got to have our dog stay for only $5 more*

**Update**
We actually went back and stayed again three days later. Completely different experience that time. Our room was tiny, dark, uncomfortable beds, no kitchen, and a tiny bathroom. The room was smaller than most hotel rooms. It was pretty disappointing considering we bought a bunch of food to make breakfast in the morning, thinking we were going to have a kitchen again. We had to throw everything away. So I guess this place is great depending on the room you get.

Woodland is the only place I'll stay when I visit Grayling. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating to groups that come up to use the ORV trails, allowing us to fill every available space with truck and trailer. The rooms are very cozy, and they are always making small updates to make every visit just a little better.

My stay there was great the Owners, staff, and people there are amazing I stay at a lot of hotels and this spot trumps em all recommend giving them a shot not to mention a better price if u call them direct

Good for the price. The room was adequate. It was our first time staying in a motel. Before arrival, it did take my wife some convincing that we would not be murdered by some crazy tweakers. However, once inside the room, everything was fine.

It's a nice passthrough place just for the night. There are no amenities. I'd go in with lowered expectations, and you won't be disappointed.
