Comfortable, quite and well kept apartments. The landscaping always looked immaculate and maintenance was quick to fix anything.

My experience here was like no other! Currently i live in a suburban area near Metro Detroit! Due to the City of Detroit rebuilding the downtown/midtown area I thought it would be a great opportunity for my boyfriend and I to move back to our home town! After searching for an area to move to I ran across Woodbridge Estates! I called their office about 3 days ago to check on availability and the guy by the name of Ryan who works in the office informed me there was 1 open unit! My boyfriend and I jumped on it right away! The same day I spoke with Ryan we went down to this location with the money order for the application and holding deposit! When we went into the lobby the workers were asleep on the couch! It was my understanding that Ryan was on lunch! After completing the application Ryan was off of lunch and we sat inn his office and spoke with him. Everything was going well when he was going over the expectations of the open townhome! After we left the office we happened to ride by the townhome and there was an abandoned building near the beginning of the block. After seeing that I was not so sure about the property but I still wanted to give this place a chance. Just so happens Ryan calls us while we are looking at the outside of our new home asking us how did we like it. My boyfriend was honest and told him we were a little concerned about living on a block with an abandoned home. Ryan infrormed us that burned home has been that way a few years and plan to be replaced no latter than the end of the Summer this year. So hope is still in the air. That night I emailed Ryan all of the information he needed to approve us for the property. When i sent the email through my gmail account I was getting an error msg back it basically was giving me an error msg back stating i was not allowed to send information to his email. I called the office about this matter around 9 or 10am and spoke with the woman who works in the office right across from Ryan, I forgot her name. I left a msg for her to give to Ryan hoping she would assist me, instead she said she would deliver the msg to him and I sensed she was not willing to help me. I can tell by her urgency to get me off the phone. 1 to 2pm rolls around And still have not heard from him and I ended up giving him a call back and he informed me he received the email. IF YOU KNEW I WAS TRYING TO CONTACT YOU AND THE WOMAN WHO SUPPOSEDLY LEFT THE MSG FROM ME TO GIVE TO YOU WHY WOULDNT YOU RETUNR MY CALL LETTING ME KNOW YOU RECEIVED THE INFORMATION! STRIKE 1! So everytine we would call to speak with Ryan he would never return the calls. UNPROFESSIONAL!! So today we were supposed to go view the unit, I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL AGAIN informing me the time Ryan wanted to speak with us! I called the office and again was THE WOMAN WHO WORKS RIGHT ACROSS FROM RYAN WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE HIM THE MSG WE LEFT. 3 hrs roll by and still no near from Ryan. DUE TO THE UNPROFESSIONALISM OF THIS PROPERTY AND THE STAFF IN THE OFFICE I WILL NEVER MOVE BACK TO THE CITY DUE TO THIS EXPERIENCE! Living in the suburbs it is much more PROFESSIONAL AND EVERYTHING IS TIMELY. And btw if the person I am speaking with cannot assist me THE LEAST THE PERSON CAN DO ANSWERING THE PHONE IS ATTEMT TO ASSIST ME. I think Ryan may be a good guy maybe the woman who is supposedly the manager was not leaving the messages for him to return but in the same token Ryan was not staying in contact with us as WE ARE THE CUSTOMERS!! I WILL NOT MOVE IN TO A PROPERTY WHERE THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE OFFICE STAFF NOR THE TENANTS OR INCOMING TENANTS! I did not feel welcomed by the woman who works across from ryan. And this was a WRONG DECISION ON MY PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very unorganized. Worst experience ever. No communication unless it's about you paying them some money. Avoid avoid avoid.

Very unorganized staff. The worst experience me and my fiance have ever had trying to apply to an apartment. Nicki and Mary were the names of the women who treated me and my fiance as if we were stupid and like we didn't know what we were talking about. They constantly lied to us about whether or not we could hold a one bed room apartment for $100.00. They were unorganized in their paperwork and their communication between each other and me and my fiance, the applicant. After a week (7 days) of telling both Nicki and Mary, my fiance was moving/applying and I was not, Nicki acted as if myself and my fiance had not explained to her and Mary that he was the only one applying and moving in. Nicki had me make out a $50.00 check for the application fee although she knew it was only 25.00 per applicant. (We had already went over the fact that my fiance was the only person applying and moving in) My fiance did write my name on the application with his but that was all he put, we told them that if they seen some one coming over for a day or two, it would be me. He just wanted them to know I wouldn't be living there but would be visiting, as to not kick him out over a few sleepovers. They also had conflicts about how long someone could visit with out having the right to kick the resident out. Mary and Nicki could not agree on that either. They finally came to the conclusion that the resident could have visitors up until the 14th consecutive day after which they have legal grounds to remove the resident by breaking the terms of that rule. They also jeopardized my (and my mothers) living arrangements at another apartment I did and currently live in by saying and filing paperwork (doing credit checks) that would say that I am applying to a new apartment complex. I Believe they may have been prejudiced against black people (My fiance is black) and since they have denied someone the opportunity for housing because of the race of an applicant (My fiance) that does make them racist. Yeah All this and my fiance doesn't even live here. He won't be moving in after this.
