Great place! My daughter was moving into Ferris State and all hotels for 45 miles from Big Rapids were booked. I took a chance on this place, about 20 minutes outside of Big Rapids. It was great. $60 for the night, no outrageous taxes or fees. The room was a little outdated but it was very clean and had wifi, cable, fridge, microwave and coffeepot. Very nice. Was quiet and the owner was so sweet. She was very nice and made you feel right at home. My receipt was an actual hand written receipt. It was the perfect place to stay. Right across the street was a bar, with beautiful lakeside seating and what appeared to be a popular place to eat and spend an evening. Will absolutely stay again when visiting my daughter. The price is right and the accommodations are perfect. Found a little diamond in the rough.

Stayed for a funeral.The owners were very nice and helped us quite alot.This is without a doubt the cleanest motel we have ever stayed at.They have the best rates around.Wi-fi cable,free in room coffee,microwave&fridge in our room.I would stay here again anytime.Thank you Linda&Terry for being so kind to our family.The Gambels

Every time I'm in this area for a few days and need a place to stay, Blue Lake Motel is always where I stay. It's a great little motel. The rooms are really clean, they have cable, there's an air conditioner in every room, the beds are very comfortable, and it's in a quiet area. If you ever need anything don't be afraid to ask because the owners want to make sure people enjoy their time here.
