Overpriced chicken pie. What a let down it was like a 1/2 can of Campbell’s cream of chicken soup with a hunk of cardboard bread filling the entire soup bowl. Discussed I paid $24 for dog food scraps. Never go there. It’s allure is it’s Barn-like exterior. But when you enter seeking a steak dinner you are sent to the cellar with no widows and the red meat is so much money you quickly scan the menu for something you can afford. If you get stuck there choose the salad bar! The chicken pie sucks.
All of our steaks were underdone The whole table. We sent them back, they were unedible. The servers were not happy with us. We got out food back and it was still raw. We didn't say anything but non of us ate. The sides came cold and they were very expensive for how small they were. Desert was decent. At the end they never subtracted anything from our $200 meal that none of us ate.
Good steak, cover band upstairs. Good enough bar for a ski town. They do all you can eat bread/garlic butter and soup if you're sitting down to eat.
After the second day of snowboarding we came in here right as the mountain closed. No wait, really great service, and the food was delicious! My boyfriend and I split the 18oz porterhouse steak and each got the salad bar side. The steak was well worth every penny of the $49 that it was. The drink were also delicious! Great selection of local drafts also. The salad bar side in my opinion was a little pricey at $10/person, we mainly had the bread, which was delicious but not $20 worth! The salad bar itself was fairly basic and not spectacular, the soup was absolutely delicious tho, it was a winter root vegetable soup and that was really good, but again probably would just opt for a soup side next time and ask for bread with dinner.
The porterhouse steak was delectable though, perfect for us to split and cooked perfectly medium rare! Definitely will go back there next time!
Food is 4 stars (steaks are “choice” not “prime”) but loses one star due to the continued reduction in value. Most steaks are double the price they were years ago and no longer come with a baked potato or soup/salad bar (now $10 extra). All sides cost extra. They also used to make homemade Parmesan peppercorn salad dressing that was incredibly good. No longer. Still, it’s the best steak and salad in Killington. Service, however, is excellent with an experienced and friendly staff. Best deal is to order an appetizer and the salad bar. If you really want high end food in Killington, visit the Ledgewood Yurt or even the Peak Lodge.
Delicious steaks, salad bar is geat, but overpriced.
I would give the night club 3 stars if I could. But I would also never pay a cover to get in. The restaurant is so over priced it's unbeliveable not one person in our party was happy with anything during dinner. The steak prices were so high! Save your money and go to a real steak house and get a PRIME steak!
Pricey, but food was well orepared and service was good. Their menu says all their meats are aged no less than 21 days. I would not come here frequently bc it is very expensive, but once a year on a ski trip may be ok. Salad bar is outstanding, $15 all you can eat, greens, soups, bread. Nice atmosphere.
Pretty good. Food was excellent and club was fun. A little pricey but that is expected, out of the way in a tourist area with high quality. Bouncers where a little stupid giving us a hard time about the amount of people we had. Crowd was a little more "bro" then I would prefer.
The ribeye was amazing. I was a little turned off at first because they don't accept reservations, and the menu is pricey. I am happy to say that my ribeye was worth every penny!
This essentially has two separate entities Steakhouse and nightclub. The steakhouse is basic, rustic and pretty good. Similar to Santa Fe. Nice salad bar. Always crowded. The night club is good for the younger crowd. Very lively and fun. Eat at the steakhouse and get free admission to the club.
