First time visit and it was great! Excellent beers and interesting food menu. I had the Thai Green Curry Stew and it was delicious along with a sampler of very good beers!
We had a lovely dinner at the Bobcat Cafe in Bristol, VT last night. It wasn't our first visit but our first this year. Our table was by the front window so that we could see the snow on the Bristol Cliff and the blue, "first day of Spring" sky. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive. We ordered fish-tacos and the chile verde enchiladas. Both were presented very nicely and with a very tasty fresh vegetable slaw. Very nice to eat tacos and enchiladas and not feel weighted down afterwards. Some nice extra touches -- fresh crusty bread and 2 oz. beer sampler. I sampled the Saison and went with the "Prayer Rock" ale. The Saison was quite good, the ale was a little to bitter for my taste but I had no problem getting down. For two people with drinks and entrees $32 bucks, not bad for a dinner out in VT. We will be going back again.
Cozy atmosphere and great food. the staff is very friendly and helpful. Delicious beers and cocktails as well. Highly recommend!
This was my first visit here, and I’ll most definitely be back in the near future.
Started with the onion and chip dip. Really good. Dip could use just a tad more seasoning and garlic. Also tried the Hefeweizen beer, and while it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, for $4 it’s hard to go wrong.
Continued with the Bobcat Burger. Asked for medium cook, got perfect medium cook. Texture of bun perfect. Seasoning of the meat was perfect. Asked for sides of salad and mashed potatoes, both super fresh and tasty.
Finished with some sort of chocolate and cherry tart. It was really good! But a tad expensive. Still worth it!
Definitely recommend this place.
My son and I visited The Bobcat Cafe for the first time, after hearing positive things, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
From the attentive service to the warm, fresh bread & butter to the excellent bacon cheeseburger (my meal) to the steak with bacon tater tots and (the requested by my son) garlic mashed potatoes, we had a wonderful meal. We topped it off with the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream + whipped creamand highly recommend it all.
You’ll not be disappointed by The Bobcat Cafe in Bristol, VT.
This is our local place but I'd travel to come here, if I had to. The food is excellent-bistro with a down home twist. Good service, very busy almost always. Make a reservation.
Great appetizers -- not just the usual local restaurant fare. The entrees are unique (like venison meatloaf with chorizo) and taco salad with seared tofu. The atmosphere is Vermont.. couldn't be better
Jenny .. very hospitable server. Great beer selection
Consistently good food and good house made and local beers, all at a fair price.
The best neighborhood restaurant!
Number one in Addison County!
Excellent food and service. Waited at door for one minute, promptly seated, good service. Water refilled twice.
food was excellent. Solid 4. Service was distant and uninterested. Waited by door for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once seated we waited another 10 minutes for a waiter. Had to ask 3 times for water refillls too. It wasn't that busy, maybe 3/4 full. We'd definitely come back for the food but the service needs to get much better.
Excellent food and drinks. Bartenders are super friendly, especially Danahe's the man. Other customers are very friendly as wellreally good convo. Great place to visit and is a must see. Will definitely be back!! Kudos! 😄
