I had to give it 1 star in order to post, I would have given it zero. Worst customer service when trying to reach someone in the out of state office. Truck Drivers are great. It's the management that lacks greatly. And it takes 10 minutes to get a person by phone if you can get thru all the recodings.
++Update. Cancelled service and can't get the company to pick up their cans. It takes 10 minutes of talking to their automated "Leah" answering machine who does NOT want you to talk to a human. It's a miracle if you can get thru and then there's a 20 minute wait for a customer service rep. They've given me 2 separate dates and a no show for both of them. Glad I switched to a company that has a real person answer the phone and has great customer service, Home Town Haulers!
WM raised our rates 44% over two years without any explanation. The service didn't get 44% better, it actually got worse. When I called to ask for a better rate they said no. I just canceled my service with WM today. When I made that call then they offered a better rate. I don't like playing these kind of games.
So then I filled out a survey for WM, and they asked if I wanted to leave a google review, which based on my survey responses they had to know I would not leave a kind google review but here it is.
So if I have to say something kind about WM, they have really nice web site and the people you talk to on the phone are super nice and understanding.
Always on time and day of week. Schedule changes properly communicated. Clean equipment and a driver who cares, careful operation and speed in a residential setting.
We are happy with Waste Management's service they provide us. Interestingly, just yesterday they were 6 hours late in picking up. This was definitely not the norm with this company.
Drivers are professional and efficient and IF there is trash that escapes during the transfer they will get out of the vehicle and pick it up, which is much appreciated
