Review is for the landfill only; we have great WM residential service in Chipita Park.
This landfill is by far the worst I've used (in multiple states), and expensive to boot -- recommend you rent a dumpster instead. Rough, trash-strewn road leads to the ill-marked dropoff area which feels unsafe at best as it's also an active commercial dump location. Very surprised I didn't get a flat given that you have to drive over other trash to the designated drop site. You just dump your load on the ground and drive off, leaving random piles without a clear spot for the next customer. Just bad design.
Can't help but contrast this to previous experience at county-operated landfills (VA, NE) which have a clearly designated paved area with large dumpsters below grade to contain everything and keep the area relatively clean. Never coming back here.response / report this review -

Cost us $245 for 2 mattresses and truck load of bagged trash. Couldn't find pricing anywhere before we went. So I took a pic of the price list to help others have a heads up before they drive out.

WM is inconsistent and unreliable. Choose another waste disposal service in Colorado Springs. My service pick up was missed but assumed it was because there was a Monday holiday. Nope. The automated system said they had picked up trash that Wednesday afternoon when they hadn't. I called and was told they would pick it up Thursday or Friday at the latest. When they hadn't picked up by Friday at 340pm, I called to check and was again assured they would pick up by 7pm..conveniently after the office line to call closes (5pm). Will not choose this company again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They regularly skip our house. They will say they will come the next day and still don't bother. They took our trash bin and threw it in the truck crusher. Instead of giving us a new trash bin they gave us a 3rd recycling bin. They want to charge us for bin collection at end of service. They can come get them for free considering the amount of inconveniences they have caused our family.

Haven't been in a long time. It's definitely changed for the better. You get weighed, the lady in the booth gives you a number and you drive up the hill. You pay before you leave, after you're reweighed. They no longer take $100 bills unless your bill is $80 or more. They have a place for asbestos as well. Guys around pick up the loose trash and get paid VERY well to do so. Check out my pics and videos for more insight.
