Drivers will tell you about routes. The station is clean. The ladies in the window will give info. Just don't break in line. They will get to you in turn.
Building is older and not kept terribly clean. Seats in waiting area breaking. No attendant at the information booth.
I missed a job interview because I asked the bus driver to let me know when we were going to be on peters creek parkway. He said "You're on the wrong bus." I was then given a transfer ticket, and I waited for 45
minutes for another bus to come. It turned out to be the same sour faced
driver as before. If it were possible to give ZERO stars for miserable service I would do just that. After what I experienced, even 1 star is 1 star
too many
Terrible commute.. Needs better routes and MORE busesand the ability to go between bus route..NOT ALWAYS GOING DOWNTOWN..THAT KILLS PASSENGERS TIME..
Not to much has changed since I was last there a couple of months ago. The same regular flow of riders going to school, work, appointments, or other. Since I've moved to Winston 5 1/2 years ago I think I visited the bathroom maybe twice so can't give you an insight on that, no more than to say they do have a new cleaning crew, but the waiting area is pretty much clean. Haven't been had any issues with Customer service they were always friendly and willing to answer any questions and help out when I needed it.
Get u some places quicker with this new schedule but u have to catch more buses and bus stops are farther from where most live so u have to walk a long ways to get home
Hold to your money and be careful the place is a bit weird
It's the only public transportation in Winston Salem. Though I'm displeased with new bus routes they adopted I am grateful I can catch Greyhound or PART buses there
I depend on the WSTA and it is in the midst of changing its routes. It's been hard on the riders learning about the changes. I would suggest signage and rebooting the jumbotron. Also the WSTA has not said anything to the public such as thank you for your patience.
THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR BUSES BACK TO THE NUMBERS AND ROUTES THEY USED TO HAVE. THE PEOPLE SAID THEY WEREN'T COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ROUTES THEY WERE COMPLAINING ABOUT YOU ALL NOT HAVING ENOUGH BUSES ON THOSE ROUTES. YOU HAVE TOURISTS/VISITORS THAT DON'T WANT TO COME BACK THAT HAVE BEEN COMING FOR SOME YEARS BECAUSE OF YOUR BUS SITUATION. YOU ALSO NEED TO LEAVE THE STATION WHERE ITS AT. YOU THINK MOVING IT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT IDEA? WELL PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY MADE UP THEIR MINDS TO BUY CARS THIS YEAR RIGHT AFTER YOU ALL CHANGED EVERYTHING AND A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE NOT RIDING ANYMORE. I ALSO WANT TO KNOW~~"HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CHARGE MORE WHEN YOUR CONSUMERS DON'T LIKE ANYTHING YOU HAVE DONE AT ALL AND KEEP ASKING FOR IT TO BE CHANGED BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS AND JUST ADD SOME MORE BUSES TO THE OLD ROUTES?" I MEAN THE PEOPLE, THE SCHOOLS, THE JOBS THAT HAVE BEEN LOST YOU ALL REALLY NEED TO TAKE A STEP BACK AND LOOK AT IT BECAUSE YOU ALL HAVE GOTTEN BACKLASH FOR IT AND YOU FITTING TO GET IT EVEN MORE JUST A THOUGHT.

The new routes & Union Station are a total failure. They serve neither the public's needs nor any practical purpose. Poor planning/putting the cart before the horse are evident as buses circle Union Station, (which is still abandoned, with no shelter, seating or adequate lighting. As it is now it is a public hazard and liability. Also this is not a transfer point as no buses connect here. So help me to understand why changing routes and inconveniencing riders takes precedence now? Could we not have launched these plans when the station opens? What purpose does it serve? I smell a rat!
