Have been visiting this restaurant for many years and food and service have been great every single time. I really recommend the spinach and artichoke fondue and oven roasted crab cakes as appetizers. For dinner filet mignon or prime rib are both excellent choices and delicious.

This place has never let me down. Iam even amazed to read the last review of Miss Jewell. I have ordered dishes at this location that meet or exceed all expectations, whenever, we had an issue, we would get the attention of our wait staff and they would cordially resolve the mistake. I think they should make it up to Miss Jewell. I can come to this restaurant with my eyes closed and I know it is excellent

I was excited to go to Wildfire until, my friend and I tried to find parking. After we did, we went into Reel Club which wasn't Wildfire (Wildfire was upstairs). By the time we checked in, we missed our open table RSVP. When we finally got seated, our waiter did not come to the table immediately. We received cornbread, but my friend realized their was another option for bread (we were not given an option). When our waiter did arrive we immediately placed our drink and food order after a 10 minute wait. Food was good, but service was very slow (or maybe because we were not Caucasian). We were not checked on to see if we needed anything and our drinks were not refilled during our stay until it was time for us to leave. Definitely would not go back again. Disappointed!!

Food, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. Only gave 4 stars because the booth I was in was really tight - I felt like the table was right up against me. Would recommend sitting at a table rather than a booth.

Loved sitting at the bar. In town on solo business trip and the staff was super friendly! Delicious food and great drink selectionas a bourbon guy,loved the Blanton and Eagle Rare offerings.

I hadnt been here in a very long time. This place is like a fancy cheesecake factory. The experiemce when you walk in is stressful as there is a huge contingent of people waiting for tables with pagers. There is a not so friendly hostess managing the process. We had to wait ten minutes in spite of the fact that we had a reservation.

The food was prepared well. But the quality is the steak was really subpar for a steakhouse - especially at a $50 price point.

The worst part of the meal was the multiple bus boys who come and try to fill your water or clear plates every 3 minutes. My wife and I were trying to have a conversation and we were constantly interrupted - it really made for a bad experience. Needless to say that was our last time dining there.

The atmosphere is chic, cozy and upscale. The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and for the portion sizes, the price is pretty commensurate. The only reason I did not give more stars is because I asked for lettuce and tomato to not be put on my chicken sandwich, but I did want the ancho mayo that comes on it, and I asked to add bacon, all of which was confirmed by the waiter. When I got the sandwich, there was nothing to it except for the chicken and the bread. I did receive the ranch dressing as dip for my fries, which were awesome, and the spinach salad was very tasty. Overall. I had a decent first experience, and will probably be returning at some point.

Not what it used to be. Wildfire used to be great. But It's been going downhill recently. The last 2 times have been a disappointment. Slow service, they have cheapened the crusts, and burned (yes charred) on the outside and raw on the inside is not medium. Wildfire used to be our favorite restaurant. Went several times a year for many years for special occasions. Don't plan to go back.

This is a place where you pay more for the atmosphere and presentation than for the food.

The place looked nice, the recipes seemed well thought out, and the service was good, but they skimped on the ingredients. The baked goat cheese appetizer was mostly tomato sauce with pita, and the house salad only had a few bits of avocado on top even though it listed avocado as one of the first ingredients. The rest of the food tasted okay, but the food overall was definitely overpriced for the quality. Picture of house salad included.

Poor portion options. Single "side" offer not adequate for the meal prices. No complaints on employees. Very good service for a busy time of the evening.

Consistently excellent food, service and wine for over 25 years.
They always hit their mark with every dish from Burgers,appetizers and steaks.
The Oakbrook location is my favourite with
lots of free parking.
Don't miss it.

My wife and I chose the city of Chicago as our honeymoon destination. We both absolutely love this city (huge cubs fans too!) and got engaged here despite being from Southern Indiana. To celebrate our last night away from home, we chose to eat at Wildfire in the oakbrook center. We were absolutely blown away by the service we received. Our server was Jose, and he was very knowledgable about the house specials and a very friendly person overall. We got our food much quicker than expected, and it was absolutely amazing. We were also given complimentary desserts to celebrate our marriage and they were delicious! I highly recommend eating here. Easily the best steak Ive ever eaten a restaraunt and at a modest price, considering. Thank you, Wildfire, for making our last night in the Chicago area very special!

The last couple times I came to wildfire, I have to admit it felt disappointing. This last time was specifically annoying because of a couple things. My date's new York strip was definitely small in comparison to what they used to serve but the price is the same. I can't complain about the taste of the food though. That is always pretty consistently good here. The waiter was however, drab, and the thing that irritated me the most was that I selected an alcoholic beverage that was on the menu and they did not have it. That happened the previous time I was there so they obviously just don't serve it anymore (UPDATE THE MENU THEN!). He offered a few other things which I wasn't thrilled about choosing but decided oh well, I'll select the beer he suggested. He then came back and told me they didn't have that either. I want to say I'll return but with so many other great choices in Oakbrook, it's doubtful
