Looks like my mom beat me to the punch on a review for my wedding, but I just want to reiterated how perfect everything was. WAEL prepared and served us 3 incredible dinners and 3 delicious breakfasts. It's been almost two weeks and I can't stop thinking about the tofu dish they prepared for the third dinner. Kait was incredibly helpful throughout the many planning emails and patient with our questions. She was up-front and communicative throughout the planning process. Then when it came to the weekend, the whole staff made wedding magic. When two guests arrived to rehearsal dinner late, I asked for two hot dogs and two buns for them, and the host that night, Fain, brought out a little bit of each item that had been served for dinner, including s'mores fixin's. They did things I didn't even know about, like bringing the reception food back into the kitchen when they realized photos were going later than scheduled. Ben, our host for our dinner/dance party part 2 on Sunday night, went and got many gallons of bourbon on Sunday so our guests could have cocktails on Sunday night after we ran out on Saturday. I had such a relaxing wedding weekend and everything was perfect! So much value for the cost in a beautiful setting!

My daughter's wedding was at Wilderness Adventure over Labor Day weekend. The wedding, held Saturday, was one (essential) part of the weekend, for there were activities available for all guests all weekend. To give one example, the groom's 8-year old niece, the day following the wedding, zip-lined, wall-climbed and went tubing. There was also hiking, mountain biking and canoeing available. The food was fantastic and the staff, incredible. Every request was met with a smile and prompt response. Not that there were many requests, because Kait and her staff thought of everything. It is difficult to express just how perfect the weekend was, but I will end by saying that anyone wanting an outdoor wedding venue and more needs to seriously consider Wilderness Adventure.

I am site it is great for groups and campers but as a tent camper there wasn't a lot of good room for tents and they're want a picnic table for each site. The staff seemed super friendly and it looked like there was a wide variety of activities but we chose to check out the nearby waterfall and hike McAfee Knob.

I've been going to this camp for since I was 8, and I am 15 now, I love it and can never get enough! The leaders are always so kind and help me with any of the issues I have, but it does talk being tough!

My 11 year old has had amazing vacations (Alaska, Africa, Europe, All inclusive resorts, etc) so when I picked him up from Wilderness Adventures and he said it was the best week of his life, I knew we had hit upon a winner. The counselors were exactly the kind of young adults you want your kids to model. They were young, smart, healthy, enthusiastic and according to my son, very cool. He was also in a group with several kids from other countries (Spain, England & Australia) which for our family was an added bonus. I am thrilled that he liked being outdoors hiking and camping and will definitely send him back for as many years as he desires. Something that was less important to him but impressed us was the beauty. The area is very picturesque and the camp buildings/grounds are the perfect combination of tastefulness and rusticity.
