While this was a "fun" experience for little children, the conditions under which these animals are living are atrocious and clearly not worth the entertainment of a few children. The more exotic animals are clearly constantly in emotional distress and many have observable health issues. Yes, feeding exotic animals is fun - but it is not out of their enjoyment they are sticking their heads in the windows of moving vehicles, it is very plainly their main access to the only nutrition they are receiving. If you still fall on the "my entertainment is worth this suffering" side of the argument, remember you are paying to feed the animals their only access to food, a job the facility should be handling themselves.

If you go use your own bus or the one you can rent so you can go at your own pace. The experience will be better. Get there early in the morning so you can feed them when they are really hungry. Animals are free here and have a lot of space compared to a regular zoo.

It was our 4th visit and we finally bought a 50 lb bag of food. It was awesome! We take towels for our laps and wear old, dark clothing, and always rent a van. Don't be stubborn, they make it affordable to rent a van for a very good reason! We love feeding the animals. It's a relaxing, peaceful way to start our Christmas holiday.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, it's a super fun experience. We all loved driving through, feeding the animals, seeing all sorts of animals. However, it feels really inhumane The lions especially had an incredibly sad amount of space. But it's not like a zoo where the animals are meticulously cared for. The animals here look somewhat sickly, many have wounds or mange. They get fed these pellets all day every day. I'd have a hard time going back.

This place was absolutely awesome! Great price for what they have to do. There Is a walk-through area that is actually a decent zoo then you drive through miles of herd animals, emus and pigs etc. They sell food for the animals, we bought one bag and fed most of it out before we got to the 1/4 way mark. They also sell slobber towels and if you feed the animals you'll need a rag! We had an absolute blast would definitely go again!

This is definitely family friendly.our group had children ranging from 2 to 14 and they all loved it. It is a very good idea to either take the guided bus tour or rent a van, because the animals get up close and personaland slobber! :) the cafe had a range of food which was nice.

This place is really fun if you love animals. Ride the safari bus or rent one of their vehicles. Do not advise to use your own vehicle.

We had a great time here, next time we will drive instead of taking the tour bus. However, the guide was phenomenal and very knowledgeable! A lot of animals to see even in the walk around. I wish the lion, tigers and bear enclosures were a little bigger with things inside to stimulate them and allow them to get exercise. Overall, great park where animals appear to be well taken care of and the staff there seem very friendly and welcoming.

So this place is amazing and could definitely be worth the money my biggest disappointment was the Walkabout, it was extremely smelly and there was lots of poop and pee visible in the cages (and I do mean cages since most had very small spaces!) The paths had debree all over them and everything was very run down and a lot of areas with wood were rotting! The next thing that just totally got to me was the bathrooms, they were some of the dirtiest toilets I've seen! I hated having to take my kids in there at all! The cafeteria area was not much better with most tables having food on them and the place was not busy at all with many staff standing around chatting. The staff in the ticket line were not very helpful and didn't seem excited about their jobs at all! The only thing that redeemed this place at all was the safari ride, the buses weren't in the best shape (but they were probably cleaner than the toilets!) The animals were neat to see and definitely seemed to be in better living conditions than the animals in the Walkabout. I paid $100 for myself and three young children which was pretty much highway robbery considering how poorly maintained everything was!

My family loves this place so much! I've been twice and loved it both times. Very interactive and you WILL NEVER forget the experience! The vehicles are pretty run down but I think it makes the whole experience so much better and more memorable! Animals look very healthy for as many as they have and I fully plan on coming back.

We had a great time feeding and interacting with the animals! For bags for a family of four is perfect. We didn't get to do the walk through because it was just way too hot for my 2&4 year old. But the hour bus tour was just enough. The bathrooms need to be cleaned thoroughly; they are just dirty.

Bring your own snacks and drinks! & enjoy the experience!

Enjoyed seeing, feeding, and touching the animals. I purchased tickets online and our tickets were waiting on us that the ticket counter. There is a cafe but we decided not to eat at the park because it didn't look clean. The women's bathroom was dirty and it had a bad smell. It was nice to walk to the walk through part of the park. We rode the bus through the park and it was a nice experience seeing the animals. They definitely knew we had food.

A truly unique and fun experience. Many people below have great points/advice on how best to navigate the place. Here's what I haven't seen suggested recently: make sure to bring trash bags or something disposable to place on top of their vehicle seats as they are disgusting. On rainy days, ponchos will suffice. Bring some towels for slober and sanitary wipes to clean up in addition to washing your hands. I recommend always renting their vehicles, because those animals will stick their whole heads into your vehicle and possibly dent it, if not careful.

In terms of feeding the animals, the bison are the most persistent and insistent on the food, so you'll have to throw a bunch of food away from the car to get past them (good strategy for other animals as well).

The walk-about zoo is excellent as well. The animals seem to come to life more with cloudier/rainier days.

I only gave 4 stars, because the place is pretty dirty and expensive, but if you're prepared and willing to put up with it briefly, then the experience is worth 5 stars 👍

This place was a great deal of fun, and a barrel of laughs for myself and my family (including my children). The only thing I would warn against is renting a vehicle and bring towels from home, especially if it has recently rained, as these rentals have no glass in them except the windshield & backglass, also to wipe off any animal spit, etc. Once you get the tickets (buy family pack online), rental, and food its pretty expensive for the amount of time you get driving through. The cages could be bigger and cleaned up for some of the other animals in the walk-about, as I was not impressed with some of them. However, it was educational for my kids and the animals are certainly beautiful!! The bathrooms could use a good old fashioned cleaning and a fresh coat of paint soon!!
